SO my Dad calls me today and asks if I have an extra shotgun he could buy off me. I said I did not I am running low on shotguns actually. SO he asks for my help to find him a cheap shotgun to keep around the house. What do you guys think of the maverick 88 model? He will never shoot this gun and it will most likely sit in his closet collecting dust. I figure he can get the 88 for under $200 and as little as he would use it that it should be fine for him. He wants a 20 ga due to a bad shoulder he has, for less recoil. I might look at the berea show this weekend for a 500 or 870 used to keep the price down or just buy a new maverick. Anyone have a used pump 20 ga they want to sell cheap?

We've all been there once or twice. Glad to see you faired ok with only cosmetic damage. The bike can be fixed, you are much harder to fix looks like you had gear on though. After i totaled my bike i upgraded my gear big time. Look at it as a expensive leason learned.

Funny i just saw this post i am smoking a 10 pound pork shoulder today. Mix or carcoal and apple wood chunks. Used a dry rub last night let it sit and kinda gel the rub today. Been on for a few hours now looking good so far.

My factory sub was all jacked up when i got the trac. I just got this in the mail today and will be building a box and adding a amp to it.

So the stock sub is fubar, I plan to replace it with a polk 8 that I just ordered online. I hope the stock sub power 80-100rms will push the new sub without needing to replace with a aftermarket amp.

No tranny is good but truck has 115 k on it and would mind having a back up if it does go.

How many speeds does it have? I need to do some research to see if it would work in my trac i just bought.

Bad I know where there is a 04 Tahoe z71 with 80k on it for 12k. I wanted to buy it but the ass hats would only do 48 months I am cheap and so are my car payments. Very clean truck with all the whistles. It is on 82 near 71 if you know what I mean. Dealer is a pain and I wouldn't buy from them but very nice truck.

Sold it, to small for the family to use got a 8 person pop up camper to replace it with.

Have to check think it is a 4-5 speed auto. On the way home ran the air reset the dash and it said 23.5 avg mpg. If I can stay over 20 mpg I am happy. I knew the mpg would be down from a 4 cyl subaru, but the added space is worth it for me.

Yeah it has the v6 4.0, and i dont need a full size truck. This is the right size for what i needed. Scott you didnt want the scoobie it was starting to develope some problems. I hope someone else starts making midsize trucks again the options are getting slim out there. Drove it in to work today dash computer said i averaged 25 mpg? Seems kinda high will check it when i put gas in and can check against milage.

Now for the mods LOL! I want it to be a daily driver but would not mind more power and ground clearance. It needs to be able to get around at camp and haul my gear and camper (12 foot box pop-up) For now it will get tires and a fresh set of fluids. Tires by winter mods to follow. Thinking bfg rugged trails and a set of springs and shocks.

So I needed a bigger daily driver just traded in my 06 scoobie for a 07 sport trac. I hope it does me well, I like the fact it has more room and a small truck bed. Looked for a month to find the one I wanted got what I feel was a good deal on it and a fair trade for my beat down scoobie. I know I will loose some MPG on it but it is more suited to what I need right now. I did the online research and think it was a good buy for what it is. will post pics when I can only have a few bad cell pics for now. It is going to be used for a daily driver, hunting rig and camper puller.
