  1. You're getting butthurt over this? Seriously man, put the keyboard down and go out and ride.
  2. We can't get on the same page for equal rights, because invariably conservatives poison the debate by bringing religion into what should be a secular discussion about civil policy.
  3. Me? Here's a few: Separation of Church and State Secular Governing Unreasonable Search and Seizure Due Process Habeas Corpus Equal Rights for All
  4. OK. Went for a walkthrough of a place in German Village back in 2003, the guy tried to sell us on a little 9x9 room with a non-doored entryway to the kitchen, a little built-in closet, and a first-floor big honkin' sliding glass patio door as a 3rd bedroom. We politely declined. Looks like a nice place, hope things work out for you.
  5. I'm jaw-droppingly Mexican, so much so that Bad speaks to me solely in Spanish. I also may or may not be an illegal immigrant.
  6. Sorry. We'll start talking about guns just to include everyone else.
  7. Quoting Lenin, eh? So much for being a commie-hater. You can keep the country's gun rights safe, you seem to be doing a bang-up job at that. We'll be making sure that everything else you're shitting on to accomplish your single-minded goal stays as clean and intact as possible for this and future generations. I gotta tell you though, it's getting harder and harder.
  8. Are you using a room with a sliding patio door as a bedroom?
  9. No problem. BPDUGuard and HSRP configs (to create a HA environment out of 2 switches) literally blew my mind when I came over here.
  10. fffffuuuuuuuuuuuu, bought a Toshiba a month or so ago otherwise I'd be all up on this. Primes are the shit when it comes to Android tablets, hopefully it'll find a good home.
  11. Newsflash: Your liberties and rights can be taken away regardless if you're got a gun on your hip or not. It would do well for people such as yourself to remember that there are a few other amendments other than the 2nd to protect. The last question is so mind-bogglingly stupid I'm seriously speechless.
  12. If you've got a Cisco switch, give spanning-tree bpduguard a try. Enable spanning-tree portfast on all your access switchports, then plug in a Linksys switch. Loop the Linksys. Once the Cisco sees its own BPDU's come back at it, it puts the switchport in a error-disable state and drops that motherfucker. Also works for regular loops to the same switch. I'd highly recommend having some sort of SNMP monitor running on that tells you if the port popped, otherwise you'll be doing a lot of sh int status mod x to figure out what ports are in what state when things magically "stop working". I had no idea about bpduguard before I came to Nationwide, now I'm kicking myself of all the time it would have saved me in previous gigs.
  13. Citizens United was a 5-4 decision with conservatives in the majority. I was wrong about Kelo, that was made in 2005 prior to Roberts or Alito. I think there's a compelling argument to be made that Citizens United eroded a significant part of our individual freedoms of speech. You do realize that there are more laws and individual liberties to be protected than just guns, right?

  15. Uganda is Rwanda is Zimbabwe is Somalia is Nigeria is Ivory Coast is Liberia (up til 2003), etc., etc. The problems are inherent to the culture of most of the sub-Saharan African nations. Sure, every nation is a little different, but at the end of the day they seem to employ all the same tactics, children solders, morphing from resistance force to abandoning all rules and committing genocide and war crimes, etc. Throwing money at a dubious charity to "fix" this problem isn't going to do anything but make some dude in the US or Europe or wherever this thing is based richer while he tosses a small percentage of your donation at the "cause", just enough to remain labelled a charity, or get gobbled up by the first military force it finds and never find its way to the general populace. I offer up as an example the charity of Yele Haiti, the shenaniganry of which can be found here You want to donate to a good charitable organization? Go to donorschoose.org, help out some kids. Or doctorswithoutborders.org, and help out medical professionals on the front lines in those countries. Or charitynavigator.org and find a reputable one your damn self. Believe me, my bleeding-heart commie pinko librul heart feels for the people in these African nations, but the reality is they've been at this shit for decades. Sure, European colonialism didn't do a whole lot for their national identity and national self-esteem, but they've had plenty of time to unfuck themselves and pull a nation together. Others in the area have done it just fine.
  16. Yeah, like Kelo and Citizens United were great decisions...
  17. I thought I was mildly moronic for listing mine for 3500 on here, I put it up for 3750 on CL and ended up with 3600 cash-in-hand last night. Tis' the season brah, people go apeshit when Uncle Sam hands them a couple grand of their money back all at once.
  18. I've got to get me that LAN tap and throw it in my pack.
  19. I think that his probationary period is over.
  20. You may read my email, but I route your data and sniff your packets. Go away before I put a loop on your switchport and you have nobody to bitch at but yourself.
  21. This thread makes me happy. I'm off to RadioShack to get parts for a blue box, just for old times' sake.
  22. True dat. He should have signed it Emmanuel Goldstein instead of Mueller. Especially having to deal with whiny Exchange admins. Always wanting to blame their lack of database tuning on the network. Pansies.

For fuck's sake, if you find yourself trying to pilot a motorcycle through a sea of bicyclists at the starting gate, turn your ass around and go the other way 'cause you is lost. Seriously, this is a lot of fun and if I do end up still with the RR at that time I'm totally in for the moto escort. A word of advice/caution for those with older bikes: The first 1-2 hours are SLOW, like 8MPH idle in 1st gear slow. If you bike has overheating/cooling issues (like my old Katana did), you may want to rethink your choice of bike or prepare to change oil immediately following the race. Liquid cooled bikes should be OK, it's gonna get hot under there but with proper coolant circulation you should be OK. Oil-cooled's are going to run into some issues, and don't be surprised if your oil cooler radiator starts to smoke. Harleys should be OK, they're used to 8MPH.
