'96. Thanks for the info on Holeshot, seems they have done a fair amount of research. Since this is just going to be a commuting/funtimes bike I probably won't put too much into performance mods. timing advancer/k&N kit maybe. Not spending $900 on an exhaust. And speaking of exhaust.... I built this lil one up from a stock R1(R6... unsure) can. It was three chamber design, I chopped it stripped it, cut adjust, re-weld, and reassembled it into a 2 chamber design with a break frequency of about 700-1kHz (It's hard to tune exactly without expensive software...) It's pretty darn quiet from 1-6k RPM, but after that it's friggin' rediculous. So While I didn't record a sound byte yet...
