  1. This is one of those cars...it's such a horrible car that it's cool and you find everyone feels very strongly about the car regardless if it's good or bad. This particular example, the owner was getting ready to put on the market and wanted everything gone over. A new top was recently added to the car and there was spray adhesive all over the paint. Paint was OK and turned out much better than I thought that it would. Overall a very nice example of an e-type. http://autopia.org/gallery/data/500/etypes3.jpg http://autopia.org/gallery/data/500/etypes1.jpg http://autopia.org/gallery/data/500/etypes7.jpg http://autopia.org/gallery/data/500/etypes5.jpg http://autopia.org/gallery/data/500/etypes6.jpg http://autopia.org/gallery/data/500/etypes4.jpg http://autopia.org/gallery/data/500/etypes3.jpg Andy
  2. Not my car, but spreading the word for a client of mine. 1997 Acura NSX, Black on Black, Targa, 6-speed, 21,000 miles, Wings West body kit, H&R springs, K&N filter, and cat-back exhaust. Asking $49,999 I detailed this car about a year ago and it's a very nice car. Hope to get my hands on it again before it changes ownership. Pictures from last winter...sorry for the crappy pictures it was snowing the day I detailed the car. Any questions or if you'd like to see the car it's sitting up at Auto Assets. Call 793-1050 for more details. Andy http://autopia.org/gallery/data/500/Picture_0161.jpg http://autopia.org/gallery/data/500/sPicture_018.jpg http://autopia.org/gallery/data/500/sPicture_012.jpg
  3. They are in Powell. Call and ask for Matt for pricing 614-793-1050. http://www.autoassets.com Andy
  4. Auto Assets has a dynojet as well.
  5. Thanks, same to you on the STI.
  6. Derek: Thanks for the kind words. Def. made for an interesting working environment trying to keep the power cords out of the water while using the buffer. I'm glad we were able to get the detail in though. Tom: Call when you're ready. Andy
  7. Went through that Surgery a few years ago...not pleasant at all. I think the first couple of days after Hernia surgery were worse than after the shoulder surgery I had. Good news is pain will greatly diminish in the next couple of days...you're past the worst part. Andy
  8. I've got to take a really close look at the wheels and make sure I'm not going to jepordize strength of the wheel by taking 2-3mm off of the hub. Doesn't sound like much matierial but they're going to be used as track wheels with 275 r-compound rubber mounted on the front of the car. I'd rather have a little rub from too agressive of an offset than have a wheel break. If I remember correctly there's pleanty of material present though. I'll be in touch. Andy
  9. Sorry if this is a repost. apparently still on stock tune as well which I'd imagine means more power to come. http://www.thecigarforum.com/forums/attachments/ZO6NOS.wmv (right click and save as) Andy
  10. I've got a pair of wheels that I need to machine 2-3mm off of the hub. Can anyone suggest a good / reliable place to get this work done at? Andy
  11. I was in a tight spot and badly in need of a new phone for business and personal...fed up with the whole insurance route (last replacement phone lasted less than 60 days) and DJ helped me out greatly on a new Razr. Don't hesitate to him a call for all of your Verizon needs. The customer service provided was well worth the cross-town trip to see him. Andy
  12. yeah...I get ahead of myself sometimes...it's coming though.
  13. Great post... very close except Nationwide now uses matrix scores on top of everything in which credit could be both an advantage or disadvantage. This matrix score is calculated based upon the above criteria along with your credit score. In some instances according to the above guidelines you would quality for standard coverage BUT still be thrown into the non-standard company if your credit is week. It also goes the other way. You could be just on the non-standard side of things but if you have outstanding credit we'll look past other factors and rate you in the standard company. Also, used to be that you could have unlimited comprehensive claims without a worry, now more than 3 total (combined for all drivers) comprehensive losses in a 36 month period will also now bump a policy to non-standard. It's amazing all of the considerations taken these days in rating a simple auto policy. Also...Benz guy talk to the judge. I had a reckless stick for some stupid stuff I did on a bike a few years back BUT the judge reduced the point value of the violation to just 2 points because my violations weren't "THAT" bad. The insurance company still sees it as a major no matter how many points the state of ohio issues so you're still screwed on the insurance side...but maybe the state will go easy on you with points and fines? Andy
  14. Are there any restrictions to this 5 year allignment. My car has camber plates that get changed before and after each track event that I attend in order to minimize wear on the street and maximize performance on track. Could I come in and have the allignment and camber set before and after each event under your 5 year deal? The camber plates have markings on them so really I could get things very close to where they started...but having them exact would be well worth the $120.
  15. Call on the bike today...they're not very competative on bike rates which will likely keep you with State Farm.
  16. GSXR 1000: Sold and dearly missed....stupid house A4: Turned it into my detailing "van". Always loaded with crap, wasn't fast to begin with, just keep it clean and pray it doesn't break with 130K + miles, curbed one of the 19's done in a custom finish...can't get a replacement! At least it still looks good. 325ci: Returned to stock and sold M3: Picked up in Feb. First track event in May. Realized how much more fun the car was on track than the bike (fun not exciting...not to get them confused), Realized how much more expensive the M3 is on track than the bike, Wife realized how much fun the M3 is on track too, realized how expensive it is to pay for 2 people to do track days, realized how expensive it is to do track maintenance for 2 people (pads last about 1 weekend for both of us). Frustrated I don't get to drive it daily. 2006: Spec Miata or E36 M3 in my future???...r-compounds for M3???, big brakes for the M3???...the only definite is that it won't be cheap but will be fun. Andy
  17. I'm not sure what it is about the red f-bodies but they clean up AMAZINGLY well...this car was no exception. Andy
  18. Sorry if it's a repost http://www.dragtimes.com/2006-Chevrolet-Corvette-Videos-7055.html Andy
  19. John, Keith with the red '93 Cobra that's "lightly modded" works for Roush Honda. He might be able to provide you a lead. I've got a number for him...not sure how long it's been in my phone and if it's still good. PM me if you're interested. Andy
  20. John, Thanks for the Compliments. Give me a ring any night this week 614-747-0002 and I'll make arrangements to get a gift certificate delivered to you. I just got 5000 cards printed up to so you can have as many as you'd like!!! Andy
  21. Bump. Check origional post for special pricing for this week only! Andy
  22. The BMW. Thanks for the Link. I think I'm going to be in Puerto Rico that week, but if not I'd love to partake in at lease one NASA event this year to see how that organization is run....and I can't wait to get on-track with the new resurfacing...the earlier the better. Andy
