  1. Yup. She looks a little different than the sig when in winter mode with 15's on it.
  2. Prob same guy his car has black wheels and based on me being behind you in traffic a couple weeks ago all 3 of us have a pretty similar commute in the evenings.
  3. It was a ZL-1 ? If so I "talked" to the guy briefly in traffic one day on Henderson when I drove the GT3...apparently that's what two people in yellow cars are supposed to do. He then proceeded to drive off in a manor similar to what you describe. He works in the building next to where I work.

That's my concern is real life. 2.75 would be extremely close for the brake ducts and front splitter on the GT3. Audi is even lower with the snow tires on it, drags body seams over even pretty mild speed bumps.

I'm interested to see real life clearance on these. I've thought more than a time or two about them but most require more ground clearance than I have available on my lowered vehicles.
  6. The discussion around the BMW is that it looks like its shitting a 991 Carrera out the back. When you see it the analogy is spot on.
  7. If you are a true car nut you will really enjoy this video despite the fact that it's just a 2 hr dialog / interview between the two of them. Great topics and great discussion. Chris Harris is my favorite automotive journalist. I listened to it in the background while doing work this morning and found I never wanted to turn it off.
  8. I don't doubt to some degree there are two sides to this story. But getting out of your car to threaten someone and then make car to car contact in an attempt to run them off the road??? I've been the recipient of many a rude gesture on the road before...I'm usually deserving of them as I'm sure this lady was as well.
  9. Dat S-10....brings back some good memories of my old truck
  10. http://www.expedient.com Submit your resume on our careers page to get it in the system. While we don't have any immediate openings at out current Columbus location we are a rapidly growing organization and more importantly are currently building our second Columbus data center which will have its own 24/7 operation support center.
  11. Dig it, congrats on the final decision.
  12. White...and in Ohio http://rennlist.com/forums/vehicle-marketplace/848764-2007-997-turbo-6-speed-manual-white-terracotta.html seriously though, I think you are on the right track with the 535i for many reasons already mentioned above
  13. One last bump...Final, non-negotiable price is $16,500. Otherwise I keep it for my tow vehicle next year.
  14. Joe car looks good going down the road. Wing isn't bad at all
  15. Don't all the modern BMW's have iDrive? ...which is a single knob that controls everything.
  16. Seat goes down so low I can barely see over the wheel when it's at its lowest setting. Pretty much fits zero of his desired criteria...which is why it's the obvious winner. I drove our TT the last two days to work. I'm pretty sure I would be arrested if I was allowed to steal it more often. Back to the A4 on Monday!
  17. 997 TT is always the answer to these "What should I buy" threads

  19. It's to change the runner length and create torque down low and better power up top. It's been an issue recently on a few VW and Porsche products.
  20. +1. If owners are educated they will replace the bearing as though it's a maintenance item and the motors will live for a very long service life. Sadly a base boxster with a bad motor is worth maybe 2k. The two most likely fates for that car are part it out or try to find a salvaged car with good motor in an attempt to make it whole again. Even in perfect running order that car is only worth ~8k As others have stated boxster s is a much better swap candidate for something that is going to make big power
  21. Guess it depends on the pedigree you are considering. Porsche's Mezger Engine (GT1 Block) is probably the most successful race engine of the modern era. It was born and bred a motorsport engine and used in street cars for homologation rules. This engine has been in every GT3 / GT2 and Turbo produced since 1999 with it's run officially ending in 2012...though it was still used in the Porsche factory race cars through the end of 2013. In the GT3 variants the differences between race engine and street engine were minimal with the street engine retaining even titanium connecting rods from the race engine along with a true dry sump oiling system. Power levels in the street cars were only down 5-10% from the race engines with the main differences being camshafts and a slight variation in the heads to optimize flow. In street form this engine first showed up in the 1999 GT3 in Europe producing 360hp out of a 3.6L engine that would rev to 8000rpm. It's last iteration in a street car the motor had grown to 4.0L, produced 500hp and would rev to 8600rpm. Because it was developed as a race motor it has proven to be extremely robust as a street motor. You won't see Mezger turbo motors as serious drag racers however there are several tuners out there making good, reliable power with them just not on the level of some of the other platforms for drag racing
  22. We have two open network opportunities right now. Rapidly growing company, great place to work. Check out both opportunities here and apply online. The Service Delivery network job could sit anywhere even though it's listed as Pittsburgh, not sure about if the other one is PA specific or not. http://www.expedient.com/company/careers-opportunities.php Reference me (Andy Kutscher) when you apply.
  23. Looking good all cleaned up!
