thank you for taping the fenders to protect them.

I've been using the Leather Masters line (careful if you google leather masters) over the last year of so and I'm VERY satisfied with it. I believe Auto Geek carries their whole line now so that makes it much easier to get than the last time I got it. I use their Leather Strong cleaner and Leather Vital Conditioner. They also make a Leather Protection cream that helps protect against staining and dye transfer on lighter colored leather, I'd personally skip the protection cream for a black interior though. All of their products dry to an absolutely matte finish, no gloss at all, deeper, richer color in the leather but no gloss. I HATE SHINY INTERIORS!. Andy

For restoration use leatherique For maintenance use leather masters leather vital. Zaino leather in a bottle would be another good option The most important thing is treating it frequently enough

I guess "room monster" depneds on where you want to use it. IT was a little out of place in our master bedroom, great as our primary TV while we had it. Ryan, I'll get an actual shot of the actual TV for you this weekend, none of it working though. I'd consider getting the bulb myself and installing it, asking price would obviously go up though. Andy

Sony KF-42WE610 - 42" LCD rear projection Grand WEGA HDTV. 720p single HDMI input, etc. Purchased new, still have origional box, remote, I'm sure paperwork is somewhere too. **NEEDS A BULB**. - Aftermarket bulbs can be had around $60-70. Was in great working order befor the bulb quit. This was our primary TV until 6 months ago, replaced it and moved it to the bedroom then the bulb went out. Honestly it's too f'ing big for our bedroom so the bulb going out was the final straw. $80 Andy

bump, no reasonable offers refused.

I go through Shawn at byers for all my parts that I can't source outside of the dealer. PM me if you want his personal cell number. The issue you describe is that something has gone bad with the magnets for the TIP shifting function.

We rented one while on vacation in Puerto Rico recently and I did not enjoy the thing at all. It had no power, steering was horrible, just really felt disconnected in every imaginable way. It did do just fine on what little off-roading we managed to do with it though. I do think they're cool, and if that's what you're after they're great for that, the driving experience is completely lacking though. Also, it already had front end noise like something was coming loose at only 6500 miles. Could have been because it was abused as a rental, could have just been junk that was aready falling apart. could I ask why the desire for a custom tune? The "box" flashes for the B5 cars pretty much cover almost all basic mods unless you've gone really radical with your setup. My A4 is pretty basic in setup these days. but I've never had an issue with the GIAC flash that's in my car, had it chipped for over 150k miles now.

Post #18 shows it. "FLAT AUT"

Ditto The plate is actually a bit of a joke from a video that a rennlister made. Search YouTube for "trackday comedy".

Anyone attending? might roll something out of the garage and cruise down for a coffee in the morning.
-
Congrats man! We still need to get together on the other car, text me this weekend. Andy

Care for the car or not I really enjoyed the video.

I was this close (holding up my fingers though you can't see them) to requesting "F CANCR" for the GT3 but chickened out last minute figureing they would reject it.

the pictures are funny, the little comments are what really make that thread though.

Depends on where it happened. Only if the damage has been previoissly reported and they've not fixed it in "reasonable" time will they even consider paying for a repair

bump $125 you can have all 4.

I think the issue with most body shops is they're always working around a budget that the insurance company or customer dictates which means they have to cut corners in order to not loose their ass on the job. Most of this isn't an inability to do the work, it's all budget driven. I've seen shops turn out top notch work when they're paid appropriately, and the same shop turn out shit work at the very same time because the customer or insurance company wanted to pay $x.xx for the job. If you expect the job to be done well be up front with whoever is doing the repair, tell them you'll pay a little extra to have it done correctly and done correctly the first time. Make your expectations known up front so there are no issues when you go to pick it up. Do your homework and pick a reputable shop (board sponsors). Andy

Same color as paint on the body? Subtle difference, but good one if you ask me.
