  1. signing up for March 20th, ill be mailing my check out today or tomorrow. thanks chief!
  2. i got a ticket in athens for parking my bike in a normal parking spot....i was in the very corner of the lot, in a regular parking spot....not bothering anybody apparently, they have bike parking...even though i only saw a handful of those spots, littered all around randomly through the city, with a big sign saying you need some type of pass or something to use them. i would usually park in normal spots, or park in the lined off sections if i was sure not to get too close to the cars parked next to those sections (dont wanna piss people off who cant open their door because of my bike)...some smaller places like the gym and best buy etc, i would park on the sidewalk up by the door, but like 30ft from the door..out of everybodys way
  3. ive never felt that feelings ....gonna give up them keys?
  4. oh man i hope not....first time i ever got on a bike, nobody explained to me how to ride it, they just said "go for it"...it was a dirt bike, i was like 12 or 13, and it was on black top....i made it about 50 yards until my first turn came up
  5. with the world we live in, do you blame me?
  6. i passed this along to a buddy just in case....impossible to get scammed if youre smart, so its worth checking out i suppose....is there any contact info posted? sending him this thread wont do him much good lol
  7. he may not realize it, but his "buddy" may be pulling something. who knows. but if the guy is on hard times, selling a bike for half its value makes no sense at all. i could understand if he got a massive raise and wanted to upgrade and money wasnt a big deal to him, but if hes broke and worried about losing his job, he is going to want as much as he can get for it, at a price that will still sell it reasonably fast....$3500 is just way too cheap for that bike...i mean, if its legit then its a great deal...but it just doesnt seem right to me
  8. sounds like a scam to me if its too good to be true, it is.
  9. probably the same....the shop is probably making up more excuses for why they fubar'd it
  10. i would take my swingarm and not pay them a dime....they should have told you in advance that it wouldnt come out right, or they should have removed the foam to make it able to be done right....either way, its not your fault that nothing was mentioned to you about it, they should know what theyre doing, they ARE the ones who said they can do it
  11. i will be thieving this car shortly. thank you sir.
  12. +2...thats all i ever used them for...but the round icebreaker cans were better since the snap is more secure
  13. when shes goes inside, its the perfect time to zip it up and ship her off to slave labor camps to make moar nikes! moar supply = less cost for me to buy air jordans yo
  14. gotcha. goodluck to whoever is looking. guess that doesnt include me lol
  15. if they pay schooling, is experience really necessary?
  16. i might be picking up another dirt bike sometime soon.....2 strokes are way easier to find in my budget, but i have never ridden one (aside from my shitty old 84 yz125)...i had a little seat time on my old 4 stroke, and my riding level i would call "moderate"...my worry is that if i get a 2 stroke, i wont be able to ride it well enough to not mess parts up...ive always been under the impression that a 2 stroke means WOT all the time, or else you foul plugs and mess them up etc... what are the main riding differences between a 2 stroke and 4 stroke? i would like to do some trail riding, so chances are i wont be WOT constantly also, i keep reading that 2 stroke maintenance is cheaper....but i also see that they need top end rebuilds a LOT....i just rebuilt the top end on my grizzly and i would not call it cheap by any means...if i had to do it every year i would quickly have more in the bike than if i had just bought a 4 stroke
  17. yea, my comment was directed originally to jstump saying you could adjust torque split on stis, so i posted thats only a feature of the new ones
  18. ah ok ...i was about to say man, post up the one you dont get so someone else can steal it too! lol
  19. the DCCD is different http://www.awdwiki.com/en/subaru/ pre-08 had 35/65 front/rear and you were able to control the locking diffs 08+ youre able to adjust it to 10/90, 30/70, 50/50, etc etc...its got a manual setting where you can adjust front to back, instead of a fixed 35/65 http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=932701 adjusting on the pre 08 controls how much the diffs lock, not how much power is going to those wheels....above thread will explain that to you (notice it was written in 2006, so its for the pre 08 cars)...youre only controlling limited slip and how much/little it grabs...going from full lock to LS the awdwiki link at the top of this post will explain the 08+ near the bottom
  20. mine too apparently, since they didnt start them till 04...but either way, that option is for the newer ones lol
