  1. i love mine....fits great, ventilates great, m2010, best helmet ive worn my one and only complaint, is the molded in fin on the back of the helmet...sometimes my jacket will lift up on my torso some *like, off my shoulders* and the neck will get stuck over that fin and make it hard to turn my head....im sure its because my jacket isnt exact fit though, and not the helmet itself
  2. you can powdercoat imitation chrome that looks exactly like the real stuff...nobody will ever be able to tell Wheel Medic does it.
  3. maybe you fucked something up when you welded on the engine case
  4. im referring to tar snakes and stuff....im not talking about mowing over dead elk lol
  5. i never have problems with any of these things...maybe because my bike is so heavy?
  6. not sure if youre being sarcastic, and im not sure about bikes, but this is how a lot of car engines are. i know ford engines are like this, ive overheated one badly (intake cracked and i tried to limp home) and it shut off on me till it cooled, and same with my father in laws f150, radiator hose cracked and the truck overheated and shut off
  7. a lot of heavy machinery use diesel engines with oil-cooled turbos....the cooldown procedures are to let the engine cool down so the cool oil can circulate through the turbo so the hot stuff doesnt bake into it and mess up the turbo....thats why a lot of companies are making water cooled turbos now, no more problems with oil baking into them. unless he has an oil-cooled turbo on his r6, he is perfectly fine just shutting it off
  8. oh damn....shoulda spent $29.99 and got myself a safe helmet instead of the death cage i wear on my head now oh, and mines snell M2010, not M2005 it also has 2 layers of EPS foam, and was designed with ECE22.05 in mind (hence the m2010 new standards) so yes...ill take the snell approved helmet over a DOT helmet that has never even been tested..... my helmet meets dot, snell, and ece standards - ill take that over a DOT vega helmet....you know the saying: DOT: Dropped Off Table - if it doesnt get ruined, its good enough!
  9. dont care what the article says, ill take my shoei over an entry level DOT helmet any time! the fit, finish, quality, comfort, ventilation, aerodynamics, everything....its all better than cheap helmets....switching from my entry level hjc to my rf1100 was great!
  10. target distribution center is hiring i believe
  11. hey...will you ban this dude or make him pay some fees or something lol? hes spamming around the board

  12. saw the title of the article on another site and my stomach dropped....relieved it wasnt bkizz like what first popped into my head....RIP fallen rider (reference to what im talking about) http://www.dispatch.com/live/content/local_news/stories/2010/07/04/br2.html?sid=101
  13. please explain....why would it need removed? is it bolted to the cement? hes talking about physically picking the bike up and moving it you could weld the wheel, caliper, rotor, fork, and roadlok all together and it still wouldnt make it so nobody could pick it up...
  14. so its like a mix of the notebook and 50 first dates?
  15. sam...what prevents someone from picking the bike up like in that video? im down for this....gimme your address and leave the key in the bike, ill be over with a strong friend and a trailer and we can just lift it up and put it on there...hell ill put the damn thing on skateboards like mentioned earlier, and just roll it up onto the trailer lol
  16. what the fuck is going in this thread? may it die by fire.
  17. trying to read this post just completely mind-fucked me. my bike is parked in a garage...my only worry is someone stealing it when im at school or something...my handlebars dont even lock, someone could literally walk up, put in my clutch, and roll my bike away
  18. told ya man, PM ponyjr...he just converted a bike exactly like that one earlier this year, i think it was even the same year, and it was a yz426f just like that
  19. how old are you talking about? i was talking about piecing together universal shit to make your own kit...thats how i had priced it out atleast, and i dont see how it would matter 2 stroke or 4 stroke. arent the bikes on the same chassis? a headlight from a wr250f will fit a yz250f, will it not fit a yz250?
  20. yep, and im gonna guess that since the crank case is scratched, it will also be totalled...hell it sounds totalled anyways...it doesnt take much to total a bike.
  21. i priced it out on my on a 01 yz250f and it came out to right around $1000....unless you have a bike that already has a headlight and stator and shit then it can get expensive...PM ponyjr, he just converted his yz426f earlier this year and made it fully street legal, he could probably tell you about what it would cost to do it
