Is a Nighthawk 250 too butch for this ride?

I'm a function over form guy. I've drag raced on 2 wheels at Norwalk. I never got the drag racing bug, but if I did and I thought I could do better w/ext swingarm...I would probably do it. I don't get when people do it for looks, it's like bringing the custom chopper factor to sportbikes. Sportbikes are purpose built. Why have the committed riding position of a sportbike but eliminate the handling capability that comes with it? I don't get it, but I don't get custom choppers either. And no, you can't corner just was well with an extended swingarm. That's just physics.

I check for flip flops and do-rags.

Unless you drag race, I think ext swingarms are pointless and scream poser. Why 'improve' your machine by ruining the handling that was engineered by people far smarter than you?

Quotas happen way more often than most people want to believe. I'm really suprised that the ruling went against the city. Good Stuff!

What does it cost to insure these...compared to other bikes? What is the range per fill up?

I woudn't call a bunch of bolt on stuff from eBay 'custom work.' Even so, good luck trying to get $8k. You're better off selling the aftermarket stuff separately, and putting all the stock stuff back on. You know, all that stuff is isn't all scratched up from the wreck that didn't happen.

SV1000's can be easily found for under $5k with less miles. Most pople here aren't trying to 'bs some dumb kid.' I've never heard of a radiator being replaced that wasn't part of a tip over.

There's a sweet 07 SV1000S you can get for only $8,500. Those LEDs would be fast on the track.

Acquired a big carbon dioxide type fire extinguisher. Sprayed it out of the car window as a buddy was driving down 480 so it looked like a rocket car. Somehow we didn't get pulled over. At a job I had in HS, we used a tow motor to surround a coworkers car with with 6ft stacks of pallets.
