  1. Tod, Yep Bolivar. CORE rides tend to start early so we can be back at a reasonable time. We'll be back before dark. The pace will be similiar to the few times we've ridden, perhaps a bit quicker depending on who's leading. Stops are usually kept to a minimum, so a long day doesn't turn into a REALLY long day. Still finalizing the plan, but it will a 400-ish mile day, prolly meeting in Bolivar at 9:30.
  2. Yep, I'm done babying it. So 'game on' on Saturday.
  3. I'll be on a CORE ride starting early on Saturday.
  4. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire the A-Team.
  5. I've looked, but I can't find the chian on my 1125.

I snuck out today for about 170 miles on some decent twisties. The suspension setup per the manual is pretty close, I may try a little less front preload. The 1125 is without a doubt the best handling bike I've ridden. Corners like its on rails, very condfidence inspiring.

If that was true, WAY more would sell.

The 1125R clipons are standard sportbike height, but the reach to them is about 2 inches shorter. It's a defintely a sport riding position, but not as much weight on the wrists (for me at least).
  10. 'Mature' may be more credit than I deserve but I try to take excellent care of my bikes. I was planning on keeping it...that is until HD decided to give away Buells.

Inya, As you get more miles on it, the fan will run less and it will make more power. Those motors seem to take about 5k to make max power. Laminar Lip and ZG make windscreen extensions that make the hwy more pleasant. Does it feel like you're sitting on the front wheel
  12. And I'm stuck working like a sucker
  13. Now why did the Indians trade CC or Lee? Oh yea, Dolan is a tightwad.

After actualy riding it, somehow the look of the pods doesn't seem to matter anymore...function over form. It's a rider's bike. It feels exotic & makes my F4i seem like an appliance. I'm curious to hear how Jbot compares his 1125 the the Duc or the Aprilia.

+1 V2 has a flatter torque curve. Both bikes have 'get yourself arrested power.' Sounds like test rides are in order.

OK...now that I have actually left my neighborhood, here is my first impression: HOLY SHIT! Tons of power & I haven't gotten past 6k, per the breakin instructions (redline is 10.5 k). At 70 mph, in 6th the motor is at just 4,100 rpms, with a 1/2 throttle roll on it pulls like a freight train. I can't comment on the top end yet, but the low end is impressive! This is ALOT of motorcycle. If you are considering one, go for a test ride. Tod, no hookey for me tomorrow. I have a new position at work and couldn't be busier.

I have little seat time so far. Initial impressions are: The riding position is more comfortable than my F4i. The motor feels strong, although I am breaking it in slow. The chasis and suspension are my main concerns and those are top notch.

Congrats on the bike! I've never noticed the EFI disable in either of my XB's manuals, but I've also never had an issue with fouling. Doubt you will either. My trade-in was just finalized. So my XB is gone. I still have my Corbin Gunfighter. Let me know if you if you are looking to upgrade seats, I'll cut you a deal. If not, I'll be posting it on Badweb.

Not Buell specific, but I've heard of fouling plugs by twisting the throttle a few times before pressing the starter. Not needed on a FI bike.
