  1. My refund was a little more. My overall tax burden was lower.
  2. Thinning the herd. Glock 21 Gen4 (.45ACP), like new in box. 50 rounds fired, then cleaned and put in the safe. Not a mark on it. Comes with all Glock accessories. $475

I had the same problem 2 years ago. The problem with their phone's is that they don't always answer them.

Are you looking for a pm gig? I've been a pm for 20 years.
  5. Very sorry to hear this

I spent today snorkeling in underground rivers in Riviera Maya Mexico. Life is hard.

The riding in WV is just as good or better. With way less traffic and LEOs.

I'll wait until others have done all the planning work. Then I'll hem and haw & decide last minute. As per usual.
  9. On a street ride, I had a flock of 7 or 8 turkey vultures fly out of the woods right at me. I made contact with 2 or 3 of them, luckily it wasn't a solid hit.
  10. I'd put that money toward hookers and blow.
  11. If something unforeseen comes up with the title or property, you'll want an experienced agent.
  12. Ricor Intiminators are worth looking into. I've used them before. Installation is simple.
  13. I've been putting a lot of effort into simplifying life. Some things and some people had to go. No regrets.
  14. I remember that ride. That garbage suspension kept pushing you off your line. That would kill my confidence. I think they improved the FZ09 suspension in 2016 or 2017, better but still not great. It would be cool if Yamaha would make an "R" version, like the Street Triple.
  15. I enjoy negotiating. I actually got another $4k AFTER I accepted the offer, because they only partially explained something to me. I told them I would have negotiated harder if I had all the info, it actually wasn't that big a deal. They asked if some more money would make up for it
  16. I didn't spit any venom at my manager, or the director above him. They are decent people and not the problem. Our CEO and top execs are the problem. The operate with zero transparency, everyone below them is constantly left in the dark. Locations are closed, entire departments are shut down with not so much as an email letting people know. I've tried to call people that I've just spoken to a few days before, only to find out their department no longer exists. When you fire a bunch of people, stock prices will temporarily go up (due to reduced costs) then go back down. After a recent huge layoff, our CEO just sold over $20 million in stock, per SEC filing. Nice. My company has fucked over enough people there's actually a online forum where ex employees (and some current) share information on what's been happening. I let my manager and director know that I know what's going on. My entire department is likely going to be out on their asses by the end of 2019. I left before I had to take a bite out of that shit sandwich.
  17. Giving my 2 weeks notice felt even better than I imagined 😄 I am so ready for something new.
  18. Trump has done some things I agree with, and some that I don't. Imagine if Trump was actually as bad as CNN is trying so hard to convince us that he is.
  19. What makes you think that? Maybe the toddler-candy aisle-temper tantrums?
