It looks heavier, longer, and taller. I'm not seeing how it would be better. I've never been riding and said to myself...damn if I just had another wheel.

We went with a quieter resort surrounded by a little bit of nature instead of something in the hotel zone. Ocean Maya Royale, 4 star all inclusive. Villas instead of a hotel. We got direct flights to Cancun, room upgrade, & transportation to/from the airport for around $2k. (5 days/4 night).

We decided on Riviera Maya. I found a great place with direct flights. Even managed to stay under budget.

That thing is ugly as hell. Maybe it's nicer in person?

What about travel from the Airport to the resort? Prebook? Mexican death taxi?

I just priced 5 nights plus airfare to Secrets Aura Cozumel (all inclusive). For 2 People in mid-February its about $2,700. Seems pretty nice. Is it better to book extra stuff when you get there...dolphins, turtles, etc?

I can spend more than 3k. That was the number I came up with after pricing a 5 day trip to Atlantis. I'd be willing to spend more for something better. Criteria is drinking rum out of coconut shells on the beach, eating fantastic seafood, swimming with dolphins or turtles sounds pretty cool. I'd prefer to not have to take an insanely long flight or be kidnapped and held for ransom.

Trust me, I know. When my daughter is out of daycare I'm buying a sweet German car.

I'd rather go to the Bahamas than Mexico. A cruise is also an option.

Who's done them? Where did you go? Would you do it again? I'm considering taking the GF on vacation in Feb. I've been looking at Atlantis in the Bahamas, but open to other locations. Budget is around $1,500 per/person for airfare and all inclusive accommodations. Ideas?

For an initial buy, I think the answer is it depends. When earnings are reinvested you get percentages of shares. In my Fidelity account, shares are tracked in thousandths.

It would be 1.6 shares vs 16 shares. In either case if the stock gained 10% you'd make $50 on your $500. The difference is exactly ZERO dollars. Whether or not it splits is completely irrelevant.
