  1. If you are meaning a SS tire over an ST...I would argue that at street operating temps, 97% of riders would never exceed the grip of a ST tire. I've gotten an Angel GT to slip in a corner a couple times...and I was purposely trying do it. It required an extreme lean angle and WOT, which probably isn't on the menu for the majority of riders. In fact there are many cased where a modern ST tire will have more grip. Cold weather, cold tires, wet, less than perfect road conditions, etc.
  2. I get about 10% more miles out of an Angel GT than I did out of the Michelins. Neither were anywhere near 10k.
  3. Having burned through 10-12 sets of ST tires at a sporting pace...I would say the Angel GT and PR4 are the best choices for longevity and grip. I would give the edge to the GT in the dry and the PR4 in the wet. You should be happy with either.
  4. I have bought new leftover bikes for less than the price of used.
  5. Not as much as some but, I'm a few pounds below my target weight now. And even manged to gain some muscle in the process. I'm going keep going for a while longer.
  6. So, this just happened. No optics though...yet
  7. The 1200 is an under appreciated bike. The handling and motor are excellent. Build quality is off the charts.
  8. This is a fantastic CCW, but I have my eye on something else. Excellent condition. No box but comes with: $40 extra mag for total of 2 $62 Wolf Hallow Kryptec IWB holster - this a high quality, thick kydex holster. $17 Desantis pocket holster $350 firm, meet near North Ridgeville.
  9. Subscribed. Not sure if I'd be on the kinda fast bike or the kinda slow bike.
  10. Did you trade it or lemon law it? I used the lemon law on my Buell 1125. It had a design flaw in the charging system. It really liked the bike but couldn't trust it.
  11. They are well made. I just bought a pair. The quality seems better than the Joe Rocket pants I'm replacing.
  12. Tourmaster. Check their site. They have pants for all temps. Some with removable liners that you can use all year.
  13. I thought the character of that bike was precision
  14. I am fine with American cars. Just not the EB motors...or anything with a turbo for that matter.
  15. How are you feeling on the CBR?
  16. Not a fan of the EB motors. OTOH the 3.5 Ecotec has been great so far.
  17. I am looking to pick up either an XD or XDM in 9. I am wanting at least a 3.8" barrel...anyone planning to part with one?
  18. I went from 187 to 165 while increasing core & upper body strength. I improved my cardio and am making much better eating choices. I'm at my goal weight and feeling quite a bit better.
  19. I haven't done any serious hiking in years. I have a buddy that does multi-day hikes on the Appalachian trail. I'm thinking about joining him this year. If I go, I try to be as self sufficient as possible. I'll make some beef jerky and other dehydrated food.
  20. I would agree with that if we were talking track. I would strongly advise outside to inside on the street. IMO this is the ideal street line. Anyone who's ridden with me and bothered to notice, would see that is my line through almost every curve. There are many reasons why a street line shouldn't the same as a track line.
