3M VHB tape available at McMaster-Carr. You'll have to select which thickness & width you want. This stuff is used in the automotive industry to replace what used to be spot welds. Your camera will not fall off with this tape.

Some more temporary than others, lol. Time will tell.

Thanks trump for showing us that even a yuge whiner can be president, even if it is only temporary.

Jeez! & all this time I thought this was an antisocial media site.

Nice warm jelly rolls, er apple spice donuts to be had.

Nothin' like a warm jelly roll, eh Tonik?

No need to argue. We are in agreement. Thanks for blowing my cover, man.

You guys are pretty damn anal ytical. All this talk about cupping made me curious enough to walk out to the garage & take a look. No cupping. I attribute that to not braking much for corners much & accelerating through them. To me, the difference between squaring off a corner & prolonging lean angle on the street is insignificant due to the fact that you only have a 12 foot wide lane to work with. I always try to keep my sight line to a maximum & my travel thru gravel to a minimum, thus late apexes.

This generational classification thing eludes me. Supposedly there is a specific date that divides the generations but I call bullshit on that. The change is more dynamic than discreet.

Your 600rr was nicer Tony.

I'd opt for the Panagale. I'd love to test ride either one of those on one of my favorite southern Ohio roads. The "supersport" looked like a "market share" ploy to me.

Depends on where you ride.

Fuck politics, let's ride! If someone's got a problem that I'm a moderate but left leaning that's their (& our country's) problem. I don't know whose fault polarization of politics in the USA is but it sucks.

It starts getting crowded about 11:30 Saturdays when the beer drinkers & hell raisers show up. We go earlier then get the hell out of there.

I prolly wouldn't go every year if I didn't live 15 minutes from the show but I do. Why do I persist? Because it's in the middle of the winter & my wife makes me take her, & I like riding, & sitting on new motorcycles makes me think of riding. Besides, $38 for admission for 2 plus parking just ain't that outrageous considering I will probably spend at least that much on lunch after the show.

Ohio Riders Unofficial Mid-Ohio Track Day - August 21, 2017
jschaf replied to TimTheAzn's topic in Track is Crack
July 10 conflicts with my WSB Laguna Seca plans. Other than that, any dry day would probably work. -
They say that track is safer than street but I'm beginning to have my doubts. Only time I've been off thru no fault of my own was on the track. I think safety comes from riding with people you know & trust.

These things happen in Woodsfield. Happened to me headed south on 800 into Woodsfield several years ago. I didn't recall doing the things they accused me of so they had to let me proceed w/o ticket.

I also like the guy's little short story about the Ducati 900ss & the Sausage Creature.

Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas.

That would be embarrassing to go over the edge. At least you wouldn't be embarrassed for very long. Yes, you could go much faster on a dirt bike.

A guy I work with got very intrigued with the motoman hard break in concept, then went out & bought a new Wee Strom. A week later, the bike was in the shop having the engine replaced (under warranty). I stick pretty much to what the manuals say & haven't had any troubles.

Most likely I'll be down for this. The last 2 were fun. Thanks for the hospitality Sam.

My wife's current bike. She got rid of a Ducati Monster 696 to get this. The Vulcan S is pretty nice. If she's got her heart set on a cruiser, I would recommend this bike. If you start checking out cruisers start tallying up the HP to weight ratios and you will see. A relatively light bike is better imho.

My wife had one of these for her 1st bike. She liked it a lot & rode it for a couple years. One advantage of this bike over the twins is that it is light weight. Don't knock 31 HP until you try it. Plenty of grunt for a beginner, being a single cylinder. Kept up with traffic just fine.
