  1. No committees please. Set something up & those that want to attend will show up.
  2. Highway sprocket installed on N1K. Lots of miles left on Pirelli Angel GTs. Fresh oil & filter. Ready to roll.
  3. Cleveland IS one big chuckhole. North Ridgeville IS one big chuckhole.
  4. How about pants? Jeans protect about the same as shorts.
  5. You're never too old for power rangers. Armored gear is definitely worthwhile. You can opt out on the power ranger colors if you are adverse. Then again, loud colors save lives.
  6. I too thought I would be cheap on a suit but ended up spending $1100 on a Held. It's a size 44/54 & it fits my 6'1" 180# body great compared to most others I tried on. Good luck.
  7. Come on along with us. I've done this trip on the rr without Heli-bars & had no regrets. Install a set of Heli-bars & throw on some soft bags & you'll have a regulation sport touring machine.
  8. My weather forecast for the day of the ride says sunny with a low temp of 60 & a high of 75.
  9. I have found that the most important layer for riding in cooler weather is an outer shell that blocks the wind. Nylon overmitts, Nylon over jacket with a high neck (fleece neck gaitor underneath). Textile riding pants. If you keep the wind & moisture on the outside you don't need too many layers underneath.
  10. When someone starts talking about average temperatures in Ohio it reminds me of that you can stand with one foot in a bucket of hot coals & one foot in a bucket of liquid nitrogen & on average feel pretty good.
  11. Welcome to the forum. No pesky restrictions here. Anyone with a learners permit is allowed to ride any bike. Land of the free, home of the brave & all.
  12. You needed some gear on that ride last spring Tracy. I would have been hypothermic if I would have been dressed like you.
  13. I thought the fog added a nice touch & made it a memorable ride.

    OH 555?

Re-paved would be great. Re-chipsealed would suck.
  15. We don't generally do the hallmarkers either but my wife surprised me with a Polaroid Cube. I just ordered her a new Shoei. Real nice pizza by the way.
  16. Same here. I'm back in the Ridgefield development.
  17. Nice. I'll keep an eye out for you around town once the weather breaks.
  18. Impressive straight line acceleration for it's day. They have done things since then that make 590 lb (wet), 100 rwhp bikes less scary to ride.
  19. That whole vintage thing just eludes me. I must not have antique genes. Technology marches on & that's fine by me. To each his own.
  20. Reservation made. I'm stoked & it's only February.
