  1. I like Uncle Punk's & Whalers non-OCD approach. I have been getting 25,000 miles plus with Honda lube. Spray it on, wipe it off. Dont worry about the chain being warm or fuss with brushes or 2ndary lotions & potions.
  2. Looks like yes. Maybe MT. I volunteered to take half the dozen or so that wanted a medium fast group. Helmut's going to have a pretty huge medium group by the looks of things.
  3. Interesting clip Derek. Poor form & execution aside, did anybody else notice the massive buildup of oil in the center of the lane just before he went down? It looked to me that he turned right through the continuation of the oil buildup just before he went down. Just my $.02
  4. Glad Pauly got the problem corrected. He's a good guy. Sorry you had the experience. If I would have known I would have had the bike back over at Pauly's before I put it up for sale.
  5. FJ-09? Come on Nivin, the suspense is just too much to bear.
  6. That's too nice of bike for a Ridgebilly. Congrats.
  7. Not something I would worry about.
  8. Hope he heals up fast. Glad it wasn't worse..
  9. Rent motorcycles or you'll wishing you did on Mad Sunday. Quicker to get on the ferry too. They do rent proper motorcycles in the UK.
  10. I'm fine with lane splitting being illegal here. I only get into traffic that warrants it a couple times a month so it's not really a big deal.

    Baltimore Riots

The burbs are our last stronghold. The sky is definitely falling CL.
  12. Mike, When I got home today there was a Riders Discount Box with a new Joe Rocket textile jacket in it. Thanks for the great deal. I've got a perforated leather Hein Gericke jacket but I think that this textile Joe Rocket is going to be my new "everyday" wear.
  13. I looked in my garage & there is no scooter. I would be tempted to follow along on what I've got just to see the expressions on the faces of all the Harley riders you gentlemen overtake.
  14. My Jorgensen woodworkers clamp has never failed to break a bead.
  15. 8:00 Lodi= 8:50 Millersburg. It would be good to see you Dave.
  16. You are pretty much on the grid system down there as I am up here. I grew up just SE of Dayton. A couple roads with some turns that I remember are Lower Bellbrook Rd. & Upper Bellbrook Rd. between Bellbrook & Xenia. Kentucky really isn't that far & the roads down there are a lot better.
  17. I would suggest that anyone considering this ride (no matter what their age) should have passed the MSF course then hae 5,000 miles street riding experience. Back to subject. I'll see you folks in Lodi.
  18. Thanks. You got the job. . Pace will be adjusted so all riders stay safe & have fun.
  19. I am willing to lead a medium fast group (by the response so far there should be 2 medium fast groups). My group will add about 40 miles to the loop by nixing 821/339 & taking 260/26 instead. Any interest? Anyone willing to sweep?
  20. I confess. I'm a chump. I went & tried on jackets at the dealer then turned around & bought one from Riders Discount at substantial savings the other day. My wife bought a motorcycle while we were at the dealer, so I don't feel so bad about being a chump.

    Flat tire. :(

I've been carrying a plug kit for years. Used it 3 times. It is real nice to continue the ride after you have a flat.
