The reason it was there is so we could eat at 12 as mentioned and then hang out and BS for a bit since there was an expected 10 to 12 people coming. That's usually how things go. Eat then hang for a bit, check out the bikes, etc. But when there's 3 people there and one has to leave you can only sit around for so long, and Nick and I opted to leave. Nobody wants to sit around at an empty meet hoping and praying that people show up at the very end of the meet. Its over now. If you don't like how it was set up then quit your bitching and call your own meet next time.

The only people that showed were me, ninjanick, and itsrunem. We ate at 12 as planned and there was no sign of anyone else coming. No new posts on here, and wrillo had to cancel so we said fuck it and rode. I'm not standing in a parking lot for another hour and 15 minutes so maybe one other person can show up. It was quite a letdown considering all of those who asked for this to happen and the never showed up. Also, the reason I didn't pick a later time is due to it being a Saturday, and i'm sure a lot of us have more important things do deal with on a Saturday night like friends, family, errands, etc.

I rode at 3 am last night. It was cold. Fun was cut short by a balding tire showing the slightest hint of cord. New tire on its way today.

I still stick to my guns on the 1000 over 600 for commuting and playing on streets. Except for the part about 8/10ths, Lizard you we're correct in assuming rider's ability, not bike's ability. Of course you can ride a 600 just as fast as a 1000 on the street, you just gotta work harder and rev the hell out of it. That's why I hated my CBR600.

Hahaha, I knew you'd pussy out. It can't be on coshocton roads, that's home turf advantage. As for 600/1000, after riding both, it would definitely be 600 for track but 1000 for street all the way. When you're on backroads with a 1000 you don't have to ring the shit out of it to have fun and keep up with others. The torque that a modern 1000 has makes it a delight to run down backroads at 8/10ths

What kind of race? I've killed an 04 CBR600rr and an 07 GSXR-600 in a straight line. I'm willing to add another to the kill sheet.
