  1. Bwahahahahahaha! I'll leave out the profiling Busa jokes for now.
  2. ^ Yeah, what he said!
  3. That pissed me off the most. I guess to DMG, it's not racing anymore. It's just a "show", like reality TV. Just setting up the grid so there's the perfect ending. "We no longer care about racing, we just want a good show" Hmmm, sounds familiar. NASCAR anyone?
  4. If I have to research, edit, and approve one more machining process chart i'm gonna lose my mind! .....OP-00 to OP-20 done. OP-30 to OP-200 left. FML.
  5. Yardwork is overrated. You wanted a good ride? THIS is gonna be a good ride.
  6. Ya know, as fugly as the front end is, it's growing on me. Plus the specs are astronomical!!! -1000 cc -193HP @ 13,000 rpm -112 Nm @ 9,750 rpm -13.0:1 Compression -Wet clutch with anti-hop, cable operated -4 mode traction control, 4 mode ABS Road ready, fully fueled - 455 lbs!
  7. You seem to be cluttering this thread with useless ideas......MODS!!!!
  8. Goddamnit! Its my size and I don't have the $$$ right now! Doh!
  9. Sounds like a nice bike, and finding one with completely clean fairings is usually hard. It may be worth about $2k. But sprockets and chain will cost you about $200 and the CCT another $65 to $80. So I'd say lowball around $1400 and see what he says.
  10. Dunno what prices are right now, but depending on year I've seen prices in the 2k range. If the sprocket and chain are toast, then I'd start at 1200 to 1300 and cap it at 1750 depending on what he says. How are the plastics?
  11. Lol, must be an engineering thing. I always say an early time and end up being later.
  12. Ok. Meet at the usual? Marathon on 35 and take 42 up? We would need to leave by 7:45 am.
  13. Ugh, I'm gonna have to leave my house at like 6:30 am. lol I'll meet you at the pony though. Then you can lead me north.
  14. So, who's bringing the condoms?
  15. There you go. ^ I call BS on the 5 minutes part IP. It takes 10 damn minutes to get the fairing off. Lol
  16. I had an 87 CBR 600 Hurricane with 42,000 miles and it's still running. It was beat to hell but the engine never had an issue. Cam chain tensioner is easy. Take the side fairings off and look on the back of the block and it's beside a hose. $100 for a new hydraulic cam chain tensioner and gasket, and about 45 minutes of your time and you're good. A loud CCT means nothing in terms of the motor being bad, they all fail and all allow rattle all the way up to the newer F4i. Keep in mind it's an older bike, but they are easy to work on and run like a clock. I didn't have too many electrical gremlins to worry about.
  17. Hmmm, I didn't think about that. Any pinched line from removing the tank lately?
  18. Well I guess I'm in. I can't miss this sort of fun.
  19. And I've probably got more miles on than you.
  20. Hell yeah son! I almost forgot Aprilia was still reppin' AMA. All the attention has been on the RSV4 in WSBK, and I forgot there were independent companies still running the RSVR.
  21. Ryan, I don't think you're capable of handling zachs bike with you being a Harley rider and all. So i'll take it out for him.
  22. Jus checkin. Not this weekend, next weekend.
  23. What's that supposed to mean? As for moving it back a week, that's the OR meet and greet in Cbus. The other option is that we just not have this at all. Zach, we'll actually do some riding instead of sitting around. Don't you worry.
