  1. What Pauly said. Other than that, I don't do "internet diagnosis" much, but it sure sounds like the valves aren't opening. Are the cam and cran pulleys turning when you crank the engine over with the starter? Beyond that, I can't guess any more without seeing it.
  2. At work, I found out that my Milton inflator gauge was reading very inconsistently, sometimes right on, others high by a few pounds. I have gone to using a cheap-o, old school pencil type gauge, and it's always within a pound of what the TPMS sensors read on the cars. $50 Milton vs. $$5 pencil type. It's much more convenient to have the gauge in the device that you'll be inflating with, but accuracy is much more important, especially when the pressures read on the dash, and people could see that your gauge is wrong!
  3. An internal sensor such as we have on car is about the only way to go. As for the temperature, it's only going to be reading the AIR temperature inside the tire, which is going to change slower than the surface temperature of the tire, which is what would be of more benefit to know, right?
  4. Ugh... So tempted... I'm thinking on a couple of these.
  5. What? I thought this was a firearms forum...
  6. Gee, thanks. Now I have a Nabi action camera on it's way. I cannot go to Woot! without looking at what they have on their other pages.
  7. That's why Cordell goes, then! I never knew who started it, just a little bit of what it is.
  8. I used to work with a guy that went to them fairly often, said it was pretty cool. He's a Mod on a local car forum.
  9. I have a decent sized gathering coming up next month, going to be doing some pulled pork, brisket and some ribs. Probably around 50 pounds of meat. I will be coming back through this thread for some possible fresh ideas!
  10. http://www.hondamotorsports.net/event_list_detail.asp?ecode=652908&smonth=7&syear=2014&emonth=7&eyear=2014&location=0&Submit=Search&inputpage=1 The link that doesn't work in the OP.
  11. Maybe. Boring ride (I have done that entire loop of 270 on the bike before in one day, but not all at once like this) but as others are saying, great cause!
  12. Really? Tell me what the "doskey" command does (without searching for the answer) and we can talk about who feels old...
  13. It's not looking like my friend will be able to do this. If anything changes before you find someone, he will let me know!
  14. Knowing you, your's will be for sale in a couple months! BTW... How did you break it? I saw the bent parts pics on FB. Nevermind. I just saw your post about it here!
  15. I know a guy that plays cello. Not sure if he has any cellos other than his electric one though, so he'd probably need to plug in to the sound system. I can ask if he's interested in doing something like that at that time of the year.
  16. The sway is pretty straightforward, mechanically. The problems arise with getting it to run right. All of the 6.0 trucks came with the 4L80E trans, and the 5.3's came with the 4L60E. It's not as simple as running a 6.0 program in it, unless you swap the trans out as well. If you want to run the 6.0 with the current trans, you will need someone to PROPERLY set it up in the PCM and PROPERLY tune it. There's a ton that goes into doing it right to prevent problems with eating up the trans, and not everyone that can use the tuning software knows how to do it right!
  17. II hope this isn't vaporware... Some really cool technology there!
  18. Here's the second: http://www.newarkadvocate.com/relart/20140622/NEWS01/306220029/Granville-man-killed-motorcycle-crash
  19. It looks like there were 2 motorcyclist fatalities in Licking county today. The first in Buckeye Lake, claiming the life of a Johnstown resident, and the second, I have no details on yet, but it happened in the Alexandria area. http://www.newarkadvocate.com/article/20140621/NEWS01/306210021/Johnstown-man-dies-motorcycle-crash?nclick_check=1 All I have on the second one is a "Breaking News" Facebook post from 10tv.com saying that it was a couple hours ago, which would be in the 8:00 PM hour. RIP Riders. To the rest of you, BE SAFE and make it home to your family!
  20. Just go to Google and search for Focus Dual Clutch Transmission, or something similar. It's an ingenious design, although it seems that Ford is having some issues with their implementation of it, mainly with the software that controls it. Honda also uses a DCT on the VFR 1200. For cars, it looks like VW was the first to use it in a production vehicle. As an enginerd, I figured you would have been all over this!
  21. I haven't pooped yet today... That means I missed out on quality break time at work!
  22. I bet it involves the manufacture of sex toys...
  23. I pulled the trigger on another pair of Redwing 4406's tonight, this time sized to fit properly. I also got their arch support orthotic, which is what I did to tolerate the last pair that didn't fit properly for so long. We'll see how they are after they break in. I HATE breaking in new boots and shoes!
  24. I wouldn't be surprised! Put them on the truck account! How about the Snap-on socks Best socks ever!
