  1. I've had Streamlights since around the time that the OP got that one. The one that I currently carry is a Pro-TAC. It's a bit big, take 2 AA batteries, but has been just right for me. LOT's of brakes have been checked with this light!
  2. And why hasn't propane come down as well? And diesel. Some places it has come down, others it's stayed the same, which made it $.70 a gallon more within a few miles!
  3. Yeah, I was thinking about that, and doing it as part of something else would be the way to go, for sure. It looks like I'm not the only one that would like to see more ORDN get-togethers!
  4. Interested. I was eyeballing all that is available when I was killing some time in Chicago, at Fry's Electronics. I'm going to have to look into some of the stuff you guys have posted and see if my interest level is high enough to even get started! I did some work with assembly language several years ago, basically going in and modifying the code to add functionality, and to modify "CNC" programs that were hard coded. I can't remember what all was involved right now, but I DO remember it all being done via parallel port.
  5. I may be able to help with a meet and eat or 2, maybe help with a fundraiser. How about a chili cookoff again? Maybe if we could get more participation and use it as a fundraiser as well?
  6. Loophole? The stuff I had is spelled with a "j" your honor...

I would consider this in a couple months. Can't do it right now, though.
  8. I've been looking as well. It seems as though retails hasn't caught on to the fact that many mean have beards!
  9. Careful what you say, I have an attack car over my shoulder...
  10. GM covers ECM for 8/80 and cat converter for 8/80. I do know that coverages change from year to year so we have to check each one. They've scaled back powertrain from 10/100, and I'm sure the cuts will continue, to make up for the recall $$$ going out the window.
  11. Interesting. I had one apart out of and Edge about 8 years ago (I'm guessing) and had no parts available, other than the valve body/TCM. Didn't find anything worn and replacing the VB/TCM did no good. Ended up putting in a new unit from Ford. This is back when I worked at in independent shop.
  12. I've seen them on a bunch of vehicles with them that are rusted to pieces.
  13. I'm glad to hear that at least Subaru has them working well. I've not seen very many manufacturers doing well with them.
  14. All this cold, and all I have is a couple R/V propane tanks to fuel the furnace! The big tank will be set on Tuesday. I hope I can make it one one more small tank until then!
  15. I was pretty shocked to to see how popular Budweiser is in Ireland when I was there about 15 years ago. I think the beer that I ha dthe most over there was Smithwick's. I've had it here and it's not the same, just as with Guinness.

    Allergies

Qnasl doesn't seem to be doing ANYTHING for me, beyond spraying 134a up my nose (That's the propellant in it, the same as refrigerant!) I miss my Omnaris. I'm going to have to pay what they want for it, now that their "copay card" won't take any off the price of it anymore.
  17. Drinking Guinness in Ireland is an AMAZING experience! One of my goals in life is to go back over there to do this again, now that I drink beers that are better than Bud Light.
  18. Funny thing, looking at GM's warranty, there are 3 different levels of emission warranty, and one of them is 2/24, less than GM's bumper to bumper.
  19. Most of Columbus is that way. Drivers seem to go full stupid, and lose all regard for other drivers as soon as they hit the road.
  20. Wow! 3 years? I guess time flies! Welcome back!
