  1. Milk might help a dairy farmer...
  2. I know it's not Ohio, but not far away, maybe GM? Ok, the other American manufacturers, too. Detroit is only a few hours away, I was just up there last week. The GM tech center is HUGE!
  3. You got the tall boy and not the elongated bowl? Your house is not fat person friendly! My brother in law (6'4" or so, over 350 lbs) often makes a point to tell us that he approves of our toilet, probably in attempt to get my sister to let him buy one for their house!
  4. Wow man! Glad to see you on here, and the awesomeness of that bike!
  5. They have GM's HFV6 (High Feature V6) in them. This engine has had a few hiccups (timing chain issues) early in it's life, but they're pretty solid these days. I work for a Cadillac dealer, and everything but the Escalade has the HFV6 available in it, even twin turbo in the XTS. This engine mated to the virtually trouble free 6L series of transmissions should be a pretty reliable package. As long as they got rid of all of the Isuzu like interior and driveline stuff, this should be a pretty good truck. The recalls have been minor stuff, like and airbag module reprogram, and a hood hinge torque check. Wait a few months and see how many recalls we actually get for them as they tweak the build process.
  6. I was thinking somewhere local that I could pick up some, but I will look at what was posted. I actually forgot that there were links earlier in the thread!
  7. Where do you find beard care products? I've looked at a couple different big box retailers and found nothing.
  8. Double check, some items are covered under a separate federally mandated emissions warranty. Side note, I almost forgot what an EGR valve is, since GM has VVT on almost everything, we don't need them any more.

Nice! But I like that Canon sitting there almost as well! Is that a Sigma lens on it?
  10. I think it's about time to trim mine. I think I'm in the 6-8 week range. I'll post up my ugly mug sometime later.
  11. I'm preparing for no shave November, started the beard sometime in September. I usually trim it to a goatee a couple times to make the chin grow in longer than the rest, but this time I've been just too damn lazy and haven't trimmed it at all. I never knew of beard oil before (may have know, but never really thought of using it) so I may get some and see if it helps.
  12. Both of mine were sleeping through the night after a few months. Those few months really sucked, even when the wife would get up with them, since that would wake me up, too. Still wouldn't trade it for the world...

Here's mine when I bought it about a year and a half ago. The top is more cluttered now, but it's in a MUCH cleaner shop!

  16. Food for thought: Even the hybrids, Toyota Prius, Chevy Volt, etc... use a Lead acid or AGM 12 volt battery along with the Lithium Ion high voltage hybrid battery.
  17. You know you missed us... Like the HIV.
  18. I've been curious about these as well. Most of what I've seen from what I've looked at can run up to 4 units. One of the first things to consider is if your electric service can handle it, an older 100 amp service would surely need to be upgraded.
  19. Work travel finds me in... Dayton, Ohio again tomorrow. Oh joy. I'll be in Indianapolis in 2 weeks, for 2 days, even. I also have a 2 day'er in Detroit coming up. Did I mention how excited I am for THAT one? The nice part of it is that I get to drive new Cadillacs to get back and forth.
  20. Just out of curiosity, what was the turning point, the reason that you no longer believe?
  21. I believe that God gave me that talent of being able to fix cars (and all sort of mechanical, electrical, and electronic things.) I believe that God has provided opportunities for me to progress in my career, to a pretty nice place to work, and being sent for more training to learn to do my job even better. So yes, the car being fixed is the work of God.
  22. I never said a price in my post, just "cheap." Honestly, I think it would be much easier, and faster to meet up with him than it would be to ship it, in my case.
  23. Cheap, and I have all weekend free this coming weekend. Tuesday evening, I have a little time, too. I work near Easton now, if you happen to get up that way during the day for anything.
