I'm watching this to see what the OR peeps come up with. I put new bulbs in my (now) beater when I got it back in 2001, and they're getting pretty dim. I plan to refinish the lenses, and replace the bulbs, unless I can find a killer deal on something to replace the car.

I don't have anything good to say about silverstars. I put a set in our Pilot, they didn't last a year. Fortunately, I kept the one old bulb that was still good, I had to replace it while we were in Missouri. It's not very likely that it was installation error, I do this stuff for a living, and the old bulb is still working. The other bulb failed a while later, and I replaced it with a standard halogen.

Is it coincidence that Dayton and Detroit both start with the letter "D"? Unfortunately, I have no idea what time I'll be getting in, I'd say no later than 7, so I'll have a few hours to fill, with dinner, and evening shenanigans. I'm still trying to figure out for sure where I'm going to stay.

I'm going to be spending the night in Dayton next Thursday, is there anything to do in the evening? I'll be coming in from a day of training in Indianapolis, staying in Dayton, then training in Dayton Friday. Late night shenanigans would probably not be a good idea, since I have to be somewhat coherent for class Friday, and drive home to Johnstown Friday afternoon. I think I'm going to be staying at a hotel in, or near downtown, since the training center is at Sinclair CC.

Yeah, I don't put too much into benchmarks, especially when it comes to phones. Too many variables that might make the numbers skewed from one model to the next, making a faster phone look slower in a benchmark.

I've been contemplating the One (M8) or the GS5, myself. The EVO LTE that I have now has been great since leaving it stock, no custom rom, and I don't think I even rooted it. As for Apple, I just never really like them. My wife loves her iPhone 4s, but it's just not for me.

As long as it is 2 ohm, or dual 4 ohm voice coil, and a 12 (I'm pretty sure we discussed that you DO typically use 12's) I might be interested. My wife will KILL me... I might ask her anyway.
