  1. From my automotive experience, it's usually 10.5. So, how long did you have the bike running from the time you took it off the tender, until you shut it off? If it's not more than a few minutes, the bettery didn't have enough chargint time to recover from the startup. It sounds like the Triumph's are very sensitive about electrical stuff, and maybe all the Euro bikes.
  2. Fonzie says he has already surpassed that. I wish your friend luck, and prayers for success!
  3. I think so. Although they're not all that manueverable...
  4. Picking your battles is part of the strategy to maintaining a relationship. I have learned this, but not perfected it. That would be Sam. Just ask Likwid, although I think he likes it.
  5. How do you know if he's joking? If he says he knows how the throttle cable works, or that his rr has been revved over 6k.
  6. Straight to number 2, really. If it has to get to number 4, you need to turn in your man card. Actually, if it get's to number 3, said man card needs to be suspended. I think we have the answer.
  7. Wor don the street is that his kickstand was down and caught. I know the guy, it was an older Goldwing. He was released from the hospital yesterday, still digging out stuff from the crash. I know he normally doesn't wear a helmet, or any gear, not sure if he had anything on that day or not.
  8. Most of the time I need nav, I have it in the car and plug it in.
  9. Android with google maps nav. Plain and simple. It does all I really need. For searching, I'll open up the regular maps app.
  10. Who uses a phone for making calls anymore?
  11. Fixed that delusion for you...

As I notice your new avatar pic...
  14. I have to agree with this. Just buy a cheaper helmet until (ok, IF) you plump back up... I'm pretty happy with the cheap-o Zox that I bought from the Pony last year. Snell certified and all for under $100.
  15. I've never hooked my bikes up to a charger, other than the new battery for the Hon-duh when I first got it. I think I rememebr hearing that some of the Euro bikes drain the battery when the sit, so a tender would be a good idea if you don't ride daily. As for Todd using a tender, he'll be the first to tell you he doesn't ride all that much, so the tender is a good idea for him as well.
  16. Fixed for entertainment value...
  17. Battery. I'd try charging it, or jumping it (if using a car, don't have the car running) and I bet it fires right up. A better check is a volt meter across the battery terminals. It SHOULD be 12.6 volts, or pretty close. If it's down in the 11's, it's low, might just need a charge. Any lower than that, and it's likely shot, unless the bike has been sitting for quite some time.
  18. I have one from the Daimler years and I really like it. It even has what some people call one one of their worst engines in it. 194k on the odo, and counting! If I were to buy a new one, I doubt I would buy another Chrysler products.
  19. No. I hate those stupid things. And soem of the worst, along with some of the worst transmissions to ever be installed in a vehicle.
