Pssst.......you have 1 notification
It was just a message from Jagr.... We all know how much attention we should pay to him.....
Actaully, I had forgotten to check it out from when I noticed earlier. I don't pay much attention to that corner of the page.

BRB reporting you to RIAA.
Oops!
I have the taskbar set to auto-hide, why did it open it up? Maybe I didn't watch where I had the mouse when I did that?
Next time I'll just take a screenshot of the active window.

Just bought the same one for my kid for graduation. Got it at Best Buy for 399
I think it's a best buy exclusive, other than refurbed through toshibadirect. We got one for my wife a few months ago, same exact model, with printer and carrying case for $429, and I though that was a good deal.
My mom has Vista. Just the little bit I've used it, I hate it. The other great thing about 7, or maybe it being a refurb, is it didn't come with 3 million programs I will never use and have to delete. It's got some cool features like the aero view and the navigation I find to be very easy.Hoestly, I don't think that what you see in 7 is much different than vista, when it comes to daily use. A few things are better though. The biggest thing with 7 over Vista is that it runs better. Faster and smoother!
As for the the pre-loaded crap, there wasn't much on the wife's either. In fact, there wasn't much loaded on mine when I get it over a year ago, from toshibadirect, or a friend's similar model to mine that he got around the same time at retail. I think they're cutting out the
of loading so much crap on them, free trials and all. They DO load Symantec trial, and I think MS office trial, but that's about it.

Sam, you wanna borrow my 250 for this? As long as he's speed limited to about 80, that would be fair.

See if you find anything peculiar in this photo:
Resized screen capture of the OR home page.

At least we can turn!
I think he's challenging you.

i would love to for our farm but dad wont let me........ says it messes up his deer season.
But if you can shoot em year around, who cares!
-
I LOVE toshibadirect.com! I had no problem reccomending a a refurbed laptop from there, either.
Toshiba quialty is top-notch!

Was there popsicles?
No. It WAS pretty cold.

I think you said it really was a survey. Chuck in the round file and not worry about it, since I don't think they can require you to do a survey.
Couldn't tell you for sure without seeing it though, and no, I'm not asking you to post it up.

Nah. Had to do the family thing today.
So did I, but I still made part of the ride.
In all seriousness, family stuff trumps riding MOST of the time.
-
Sat around and waited on you to show up, I guess the KK no show syndrome in contagious.
Ouch!
And rrdude, If I had anything faster, I'd be passing you, or injured. I'm at least smart enough to know my limits, and nake sure that I can't exceed them! (ok, ok.... I could really stand something faster than the 250, I know that.)
-
Actually no, I did have 2 in mind when I kept stressing the ride at your own pace thing and you were not one of them. I know you learned the hard way last time and was pretty sure you didnt intend on a repeat.
My pace was held back by a lack of power

JP, that is a good looking cake but I would have to agree with Todd on the Cruiser comment.
So, she went out on ebay and found a sportbike cake pan, over this thread!
The kid was fine with it anyway, he doesn't know the difference.....yet!

The front brake lever "closeness" will adjust with the dial. That dial should just turn by hand, but re-reading your post, it seems it does not turn free.
Because you welded it?
-
Now we didn't do quite 152...
That's right, barely broke speed limit.

glad to hear you all are back......... sorry about the one going down. (another kat!) i think i know the corner you are all talking about, on thurs it was coverd too, i forgot about it i should have mentioned it.

o it was there i swear! unless some of the weird fackers out there stole it
Todd?
I was too busy riding to pay attention, actually. I just had to throw that out there!

That's the same helmet I have, different color. Mine is the blue one, matte finish. The price is great for a Snell certified helmet. I'm not unhappy with it, and I'm not exactly thrilled with it, either.

I love midgits, THEY are the only ones that have to look up to me.
Fixed.
Sorry man, Couldn't keep away from the short jokes on that one!

I was watching the side of the road in Coshocton County, figure if they went that way, it wouldn't stay on the road long. I saw nothing of THAT Katana off the road.
-
$411! Wow!
Was that you from today?

I came home and made a sub for lunch, then scarfed down some birfday cake! No leftovers of the birfday cake! After everybody left, I fell asleep. I pulled into the driveway behind the first guest got here, so the timing was good. I just wish I could've gone further on the route. There will be other times, and now people know that I DO exist!
Here's the cake that jporter29 made for the birfday boy

What kind of work are you referring to?!
B/c if you just said what I think you said.... EWWWWWW!
I think that could be taken both ways, actually!
He drives a big truck for a living, and the knees would need to be functional for that....
Got a new laptop

Disable user account control. It was even worse in the beta versions! For MOST stuff you do in 7, or even Vista you should hardly ever see that, other than installing programs. I'm guess you didn't actually use her computer much, other than installing stuff for her....
