  1. Oh boy... I will get off and walk it around the corner this time! Wow, I have had no riding time this year except for like 10 miles. I'm good though, hopefully...LOL!

I don't have many more miles in this year! However, the miles that I've put in, I have felt much better about my abilities. I'm doing more things, more right, especially looking through the turns.

  2. There ya go, and that way it will look like an original key.

Or if you can get the key code and have the stealership cut it (with their stamp type cutter) it would be better yet. That's the closest you can get to the original.

  3. ^^ i tried home depot to make a suzuki key, didnt have the correct blank to do it

They had a tough time finding a VERY COMMON Schlage blank, last time I needed a house key cut, and the screwed up one of the copies (I think I had 2 or 3 copies made) which is tough to do with the "automated" machine they use now. They obviously didn't even LOOK at it (neither did I) to see it was WAY off.

I still need a copy or 2 of the house key, I'll try the local hardware and ask about the bike key, or even take it with me.

  4. Lowes, Home Depot? I think Home Depot is where I've had several of the last keys made that I've needed. I need another key for the Hon-duh (if I ever get it back together) and I'm going to try the local hardware store.

The other option is the stealership.....

  5. I was able to pre-ride 79 today, it is in great shape with the exception of a couple corners that have quite a bit of gravel across them. Other than that it was perfect. The corners with gravel are viewable before entering the turn so not a big deal as long as your looking ahead.

How about Cheech's corner? Is it still orange? I haven't been out that way (from that route anyway) to see it.

  6. +1 on carb cleaning. But first get some Seafoam, and not some imitation. Seafoam only FTW. Put it in the gas per the directions then go out and drive it like you stole it for a tankful.

Edit Oh, poster above me also mentioned Seafoam. He is a very astute poster...so +1 on his Seafoam idea.

:plus1: on the seafoam. Good stuff!

Oh, and I don't know about Cheech being an astute poster, maybe more of an ASS TOOT poster!

  7. and no I'm not saying a 30 year old man should have sex with a 9 year old girl. but a 9 year old boy can get a 9 year old girl pregnant. if she wasn't able to get pregnant, then that means "god" doesn't want a 9 year old having sex.

Uisng that logic, God gave us the ability to kill one another (not directly, but it is so) does that mean we should? Other than the fact that there is a commandment that say "Thou shalt not kill".

  8. The only urine test you are getting from me is a taste test.

BUT, you are one that is probably never going to be on government assistance. I'm just guessing on this by the work ethic that you appear to have.

I see you have a problem with reading comprehension.

I offer to give the taste test to anyone who wants a urine test from me. More Big Brother bullshit as far as I'm concerned.

Careful, there may be some out there that will take you up on this one, for their own enjoyment.... just sayin'...... :puke:

What a person does to themselves on their own time is their business. If it affects their work, then fire them for that, not for what they choose to do with their free time.

Dont get me wrong, I'm not pro drug abuse, I'm anti invasion of privacy. But, I do believe that the war on drugs is the biggest waste of tax payer money that the US has ever seen.

I think I get what you mean here. I have known some people that function better slightly under the influence of a substance. That is probably their fault for being so dependant on the substnace though. I totally get your point, and connot disagree with you.

The cost of drug testing all the people that receive government assistance would be astronomical. Tax payers would of course have to pay for that as well. I totally agree with the thought though.

Take it out of their "benefits" so that THEY are paying for it.

Once you start living on my dime, you should be expected to spend that money where it is NEEDED, not on wants.

  9. CS, the gun not being a weapon is a stretch, although I totally agree with your point.

I think that instead of banning all guns, we should ban all idiots. It's only idiots that do stupid things, serious enough to get shot, or shoot people for no reason.

    Buh bye Likwid.... :D

  10. Most excellent! She looks great. I have to ask' date=' since her internals were in such good condition, do you always use the Rotella 15w? I don't need to read another oil thread for the rest of my life. I'm just going to switch to whatever it is you've been using and stick with that.[/quote']

If I had to guess, the Rotella was for break-in, which is the same thing I use often for a break-in oil, especially if an engine has a flat tappet camshaft.

On a bike, one of the big advanges of 15w40 oil has to do with the amounts of friction modifiers in it. The geartrain is hard on these components in the oil, and something that has to multiply by about 2.5 as in 15w40, compared to 4 for a 10w40 is likely to protect better, for longer. This is all from what I have read about oils, btw... I'm not a chemical enginerd or anything like that.

I think 2 now, JesseCWalters and Likwid, didn't read the thread before they asked questions. He stated all in all it costs him only $1100. :slap:

    See bolded:

I call lazy, at least on Likwid, seeing his history of doing this..... :slap:
