So I texted 1000rrrider while everyone was eating and heard that there was one Katana that showed up.

I also heard that a bike went down....

I'll give you all ONE guess as to what that bike might be!

I was there. 1000rrrider said that he has warned everyone about bringing Katana's!

but see this is the thing... its kinda complicated.

timothy was the name on the title... the previous owner. but i bought it off of his friend. cause his friend bought it off of him but they just never switch the title over so his friend didnt have to pay taxes on it. i think his name was JD or something. so it was my tim> JD> me. So. i paid JD cash. so the JD dude is the one who made the deposit and timothy friend got no money out of me cause i didnt buy the bike off him. does that make sense? kinda a goofy situation.

and no the bike wasnt stolen cause timothy had to meet me in dayton to get the title swapped so he knew it was all happening. but if they look at timothy friend's account they wont find any $ on that day cause I never paid tim anything.

yeah from what Iv heard they say $0 is ok between family members but if trading youll still have to pay tax cause theres still a value on the vehicals and you have th pay tax on the values. they will get the $ how ever they can.

THAT is illegal as well! If you were buying from JD, you should have made sure the title was coming out of JD's name. For you to buy from JD, the title's in Tim's name, that can get you in bigger trouble yet.

I made it! I had to peel off early to make it home to my stepson's birthday party, though. I had fun, and learned a bit by following others. It was also a relief to know that if I would go down, there would be solmeone to pick me up. The ride home from New Guilford was horrid though. All open road, straight, and the wind sucked!

The CSBA group is an awesome bunch to ride with, I WILL do it again! I'm going to try to make sure the 3rd Saturday of next month is open! Thanks a lot for putting this together! I wish I could have had lunch with everyone.

^ Same here. It's like my comfort item. I almost ALWAYS have to ride with it, and will go out of my way to find some shit around the house to pack in it to make sure its not almost completely empty! haha

thanks for the thoughts and nice words everyone. i got the day off work and im gonna start dealing with the insurance company in a little bit. i just have a bad feeling about how its gonna turn out. i have never had a good experience with and insurance company and its prob gonna carry over to now too.

What company are you dealing with? I say just let them do their thing, maybe be a little anxious to get them going, both be careful not to tick them off. Be as nice as possible until they make offer you a crappy settlement.

Nice idea! I know there's a group that does something like this in a van or bus, or something like that, from Licking County. I'm not sure what all they do, or where all they go though.

While I agree that it was rude to not wave back to you, I also believe it is wrong to do something nice and expect recognition, or something in return. That's just my personal belief. If I were to expect something in return for everything nice that I do, I would be miserable, and probably quit being nice!
