  1. My name isn't bubby....or buddy if that's what you were attempting to type, but sorry I just hate those bloated and over priced AV's. Symantec and McAfee only remove simple crap and take up loads of memory in the process.

So next time I yell, you jump and do it!

    :D

I will agree with R1 here, get rid of the symantec. Back in the day, Norton was THE AV program to use. Today, they're just running on their name, not their performance.

I use Nod32, and I even paid for it!

I also installed the Microsoft Security Essentials on the desktop at home, I'm curious to see how it does before recommending it much. I DO know that MS bought out a pretty good AV company a few years back (I can't remember the name now) and I'm guessing this is the result of that?

  2. I agree with too much airflow.

Actually, I prefer the Scorpion Skullbucket as far as fit and function. The ZOX isnt that great, even though its SNELL certified.

But the ZOX matches the bike now. I wear them both interchangeably, kinda like shoes. Just depends on the day.

What I liked most about the Zox was the price (I got it on closeout, but I think I paid somehting like $80) and the snell certification. Even if the Snell cert wasn't more stringent (it is) at least it's required to pass the tests BEFORE they're allowed to slap the logo on it, unlike DOT. Also, the random sampling they require is good as well.

  3. I also have a Scorpion EXO "Skullbucket", it ran me about $200 bones with mirror visor. And I find myself wearing this $60 ZOX most of the time.

You like it that well? I have the same helmet in the blue design. I was wondering what others thought about it. I like it other than there is too much airflow, when it's not so nice outside.....

  4. Price seems pretty reasonable for a 2007 this time of year...maybe a tad high, but not much. I just sold my 2004 Ninja for $1,775 on EBay and I am still getting emails about it from interested people. Those little 250's do hold their resale pretty well for an older style bike, and they are a blast to learn the ropes on.

Not to mention the reliability, and the availability of used parts!

  5. He's just not that girl savvy. He's still in 4th grade mode... ya know, if he pushes you off the swings, punches you in the shoulder while you're on the seesaw, or knocks you off the monkey bars...

    ...it means he likes you.

One of these days he'll catch up to the rest of us and just mentally abuse women until they break down and decide to sleep with us.

Wow! Nice way to put it!

  6. Ya know, just something I noticed throughout my childhood, comparing my immediate family with select other parts of my family:

My mom raised my sister and I, working a full-time job that didn't pay enough to make it, and got assitance in the form of food stamps. We had very little extra. We didn't have the video games (we played that stuff at our friends' houses) name brand clothing (nope, no Levi's, even) no cable TV, etc... Things were tough.

Then I had some family members that did not work, collected a welfare check, always had LOT's of money (buying and selling cars was a big thing for some of them and some made really big money for the times) all the movie channels on cable, kids had everything they wanted, etc....

Yeah, life is fair for those that work hard..... I wish my mom was still around to see that I'm trying to live a better life than the rest of our family.

  7. The Aprilia doesn't like anything below 70* F and 40 mph.

I'll hold my decision until the last minute. Also, the CSBA thread says they LEAVE at 9:30. Which means we need to be there by 9. It's going to take 1.5 hours to travel from Dayton to Cbus at a decent pace and we need to leave a little buffer just in case.

    7:30 am departure from Dayton

    9:00 am arrival to Cbus

    9:00 am fuel, food, warmth

    9:30 am depature for ride

:wtf: Hour and a half? I don't remember it taking thaty long to get to Dayton from east of Columbus... :dunno:
