  1. The OP can chime in on this one, as he was in Iraq a few years ago, and worked on said humvee's.
  2. How many here are gonna make some kind of funny comment when I say that I'm about to go make a cheesecake?
  3. No, I have a feeling that's about how it happened, and HILARIOUS also! I almost a that one!
  4. My step brother used ot be a regular on that site. He's probably not anymore, since he sold his eclipse....
  5. Nothing even close to that was inferred.... Johnstown roads are straight, for the most part. And I don't think I'm even CLOSE to being fast on the bike. Attackpainter (I think) was talking in another thread (if I find it I'll edit this post) about the matte finish paints on some of the newer bikes being a clearcoat with a "flettening agent" in it. We'll have to see if Chad can get that for the stuff we use....
  6. I'm just quick like that (sometimes)
  7. I did? Hmm.... I must've forgotten. I think you bringing some sheep was in the deal, and you say you aren't bringning them, so sorry....
  8. Coulda had pink-ish with white stripes for that!
  9. Sounds like a good time to get out of there!
  10. Shit! I forgot to say that in my reply.....
  11. Actually, yes I do! They don't CALL my engine a Hemi, but it has hemispherical combustion chambers, which is where the Hemi got it's name. Pretty much all the 4(+) valve per cylinder heads are hemi's.
  12. Serious vote now.... Gloss black, but it has to be the black the guys just put on that harley for Mike. You also need to do flush mount turn signals, and SOMETHING with those bubbles....I mean mirrors....
  13. I vote for red, but only if the VFR goes with it! LOL What can I say, I like the Hon-duh V4's!
  14. Not that it takes much... I didn't watch it this year.
  15. Looks like they have a version of it going on the lunar rover: http://www.michelin.com/corporate/actualites/en/actu_affich.jsp?id=24569&codeRubrique=58〈=EN It says something about Michelin make the shuttle tires, and having a 20 year relationship with Nasa, or something like that.
  16. Michelin has had something like that in the works for several years now, called the Tweel. They origianlly showed it on cars, but what I'm finding on their site now is geared for the construction industry. http://www.michelin.com/corporate/actualites/en/actu_affich.jsp?id=17448&codeRubrique=58〈=EN Also, do a google search for tweel, and chaeck out some of the pics.
  17. From what I've seen in my short time (less than a year) of working on mine and friends bikes, few of the parts other than the frame have the VIN on them. Maybe this is different on newer bikes? The engines have a serial number on them, but it's not the same as the VIN again, maybe different on newer bikes. Your nutz are
  18. It's not the same... I don't think they'll make anything that will live up to the legacy of the old 302. The 5.0 displacement means nothing, other than some creative marketing. If it did, they would have built the 4.6 out to a 5.0 a long time ago. Same for the good old 5.7 or 350 from chevy. Notice that they didn't bother to try to match the displacement? They DID manage to exceed the power levels, AND keep the low end torque that Ford seemed to lose with the newer engines of the same era. /rant
  19. I like the copper, except for one issue..... That's JRMiii's color....
  20. They're not even 1/2 as entertaining as the ones that you've started though.....
  21. That could be taken a few very different ways....
  22. It sure LOOKS the part though! Which I'm betting is what the primary intention was for it, marketing. I'd have a large displacement small block in there, with EFI!!!!
  23. That counts about half the peeps on here out. No sheeps, no greets....
