I get 22MB down, and 768K up, and I hear shotguns all the time, and rdirtbikes and atvs of all sorts, not to mention snowmobiles in the winter. The road I live on turns to dirt about 1/2 mile down, past where all the houses are. I am at, or at least very near the end of the cable run that I'm on.

The power levels from that 1.3l engine are impressive. In my opinion, the 1.3l is a bit deceiving, and not relevant when comparing to a reciprocating piston 4-strok engine. Compare the number of firing events. I'm not bashing the rotary engine by any means, as they are truly awesome, and soooo smooth. Let's just compared apples to apples, not aplles to the mangosteen fruit....

It's amazing how much power they can get out of these motors....With boost. I'd rather have a V-8 anyday, make as much, and more power without forced induction, with the added benefit of MUCH more torque, with it all lower in the RPM range where it's much more usable.

Shoulda just said "ricer POS" instead of RX-8. You would have saved these guys some drool to be cleaned up, since they wouldn't have gotten into this wishlist dreaming crap pissing match over something you don't have, or whatever you want to call it.

I get around 22 down and 730k up. I'm sure the 22 is just bursting to that speed and would drop off, since that's their "turbo" option. When testing from my laptop, it tops out around 16 down, thanks to wireless g. The sad thing is that I don't hardly use much of that bandwidth for email, and web surfing.... Once in a while, I download stuff where I can use the additional bandwidth.

Silly STEALERSHIP! Chances are that it's JUST the intake, and that would be under $600, possibly under $500. That is unless ithas been overheated REALLY badly.

Wouldn't think it'd be any worse than a Zuki Savage. I've not ridden one of those, but I've been told they're not bad.

Meaning switch it to vertical, instead of horizontal, I'm guessing? I tried it out, didn't think I would mess withit, but found myself moving the poll to above the weather. I might mess with it more later, once I'm back at work, don't want to waste my lunch time with something I can be doing at work!

Love them, and build a relationship with them. What else is life about anyway? Build a relationship, and let them see how things are for you, and when they're ready, they will start asking you what it's all about.

Out of curiosity, what paint do you use? I want to do the interceptor, and I'm having trouble finding paint info for this old bike. I may be pm'ing you about having you do some work for me.

Not sure what else to say! The 2.7l in my car makes less than that! (I have more torque though, but not by a lot, I don't think)
