Compared to any cruiser I have had, even the smaller ones....it is a dream at low speed maneuvers. Many of the gas stations on this trip are gravel and even slow in those lots it is fine. It is also easy to recover if you mess up. On the Whale if you mess up, it is going down.

Ok, east of Winnipeg is freaking beautiful. Pine trees and birch forests, lakes, granite rock Ang great roads.

Been that way all my life. Got the flu bad once, dropped 20 pounds...had to see a doctor to put it back on. I drink two of those ensure things every day too.

Lunch at Sam's Steak House. Open 24/7 in Dafoe. I highly recommend it. They have pie too!

She loves it. It's much smoother than the whale and she notices it. The lack of storage was solved with a cooler rack gizmo. The receiver is hidden when it is not on. It now has more room than the whale and is much easier to pack. She also noticed that it leans more in corners.

Damn are the back roads straight and flat in North Dakota. Parked for the night in Minot. Tomorrow back roads into Montana and then north to Canada.
