  1. We do probably 45 days a season on the road. Two long trips of a week or so and then many little trips of 3 or 4 days. We love it. We see so many of the little things in America that you normally just don't see. Very few problems, occasionally we have to hide from or get caught in bad rain but we get over it.
  2. Jesus does that place suck.
  3. Just gonna leave these right here.
  4. No. Absolutely not. Mine is all cleaned and back in its stable. Which is the only way a Wing should be treated.
  5. Debbie took all the Tylenol with her to Vegas. I am screwed.
  6. One person job. On the side stand you lay the 4x8 on the right side of the bike flat on the ground. Edge of the 4x8 touching the tires. Standing on the side of the 4x8 that is away from the bike... Kind of even with the seat. So the 4x8 is on the ground between you and the bike. Grab that long edge and lean it up leaving the edge that is against the tires on the ground. Think of the 4x8 as the road. Instead of the bike leaning towards the road you are tilting the road up to the bike. You can easily see what is hitting.
  7. Kinda surprised no one wants to talk about how genius my idea is.
  8. It's wood, or more accurately plywood. It comes in 4 foot by 8 foot sheets in varying thicknesses. Kinda surprised you didn't know that. Oh, you mean the genius idea. You ride your bike up to Lowes. Buy a 4x8 and take it out to the parking lot. Then you lay it long ways beside the bike with the long edge against the tires. Then you lean it up on the other side. This replicates the bike leaning so you can see what is going to drag first. Make any adjustments as needed. I was looking for a comfy spot for the highway pegs that gave me max lean. When you are done you return the plywood to Lowes and ride home.
  9. Back seat ergos/comfrot on that bike are shit. I wouldn't make you ride back there let alone my wife. Finished putting it back together. Also adjusted the highway pegs for more comfort and more clearance. Used my genius 4x8 plywood trick
  10. Honda would have taken care of it. I could have just waited till the end of the season and left it there.....so far I am the only one I know that had this issue. Perhaps I fucked it up when I added the driving light switch.
  11. Replaced the center switch console. The knob wouldn't turn the bike on. Had to use one of the other 15 methods available to start it. Its under warranty but I really didn't want it to sit at the dealer for 2 months so I am eating the cost of the console. They are very proud of that console based on the price. Have to take off a lot of Tupperware to get it out. Not hard, just annoying to do.
  12. Took it apart, fixed it and got it half back together.
  13. Wow, Pauly is now Mr. Elite Fancy Pants.
  14. Referring it any Goldwing like that may be a banable offense. The mods will get back to you on that.
  15. Seeing a ton of trucks on our trip also. Economy must be doing ok.
  16. So we took off as soon as that blue spot hit our hotel. Past Cbus now. Really didn't need rain gear. It is falling apart. We are golden. The Dome of Hate comes through again.
