And the answer is no. Yamaha needs to get this bike out there on the demo days if they want me to buy one.

Will the new Venture be there for rides?

This is what we do. Buy new, get exactly what we want with all the goodies we want and drive them for a long time.
-
Just because you can doesn't mean you should.
-
That's a wise choice. You didn't see me out there on the whale. For the record, that Connie guy was nuts doing that. Maybe my FZ6 will be for sale as I upgrade to a rocket.
-
He does have new tires that need to be broken in. And there was a Connie there last time. I hope he isn't afraid they would show him up.
-
I think Monday will be pretty light. Some people have family and friends.

That's what is killing it. I considered one pretty hard, but by the time you equip it, it is over 40K. It's still an Impala, it doesn't scream 40K at you.

I can't speak to failing, but I saw them check mine and the peeps in line behind me.

@what was supposed to grab me a spot with you. Did he do so, or do I need to ground him?

So you created a single point of failure?

Bypass the body shops. Go to where they get their paint. It will be just like a local auto parts store, they are called Jobbers. Often regular parts stores also sell paint to body shops.
-
He hasn't been here in three years.

Any decent automotive paint store will have the gizmo to scan an old part and match it. I am really surprised the body shop you talked to didn't say that and say they would handle it. Color Rite matches are really a gamble. I have had better luck with these folks. And the sell pints and quarts. But a good jobber can scan it in a heartbeat. https://touchupdirect.com/touch-up-paint/motorcycle/

Website and paperwork says mirrors and turn signals. Looking at options for replacing the stock turn signals. An all in one in the brake light solves the rear problem. then something easy to take off with quick disconnects for the front. Mirrors are easy, take the off and grab some clip ons for the handlebars to get me down here. Really just need to move and get a bigger garage and yard, but for now we need to stay close to the wifes dad to help him out.

I'm in, weather permitting. I will wait till like Thursday to buy it. Gotta get bumped to intermediate so I can hang with my peeps again. Problem I got with bumping to intermediate is the lights and mirrors got to come off. That is too much work and stress at the track. And I got no room for a trailer.

Dont know that bike....but most FI bikes have a screen on or in the pump to pick up big crud. I would start there and make sure it isnt plugged.
-
Sounds more like an engine issue to me, fuel starving...ecu messing up..plug wires. Something like that. When a clutch slips its really obvious m The best way to check the clutch is go grab 5th gear at 35 mph or so and go WOT. If the clutch is slipping it will slip like a mofo under those circumstances. The tach will climb and you wont go anywhere.

That logo is awesome.
