  1. well decided to play around with it today and go with the easy troubleshooting first. Reset the steering damper and inflated the tires and it seems a lot better now. I think those 2 factors combined with not being on a supersport since learning how to ride better were the cause of the problems I was feeling
  2. thanks Hoblick! I actually was able to get it all off just now and only broke 1 thing so I'm pretty impressed with myself. A lot easier than I thought it was going to be. The next step is going to be taking out the headlights and it looks like the same screws that were on my cbr nose fairing that for the life of me I could not get out without cutting them out so might be back for questions on those if I can't figure it out
  3. I've got the sides off already and that was fairly easy as I've done it before. When I was working on it was getting cold and dark (my garage has shit for lighting) so I didn't really look at it all that well. As soon as the UC bball game is over I'm just gonna go out to the garage and see if I can't figure it out Basically just a general how to of what to remove and where is what I'm looking for so I have a general understanding before diving in to it first. I have very short patience and temper so I find it usually helps having that general knowledge first so its easier on me lol
  4. my parents saw it last night and suggested it to me today as well. My Mom loved it which rarely happens with action movies so it must be good
  5. hopefully I'll remember to map this something this week and add it to the sticky of must do roads and routes I started unless you want to Right at the top of this sub-forum!
  6. all this glove talk has me thinking ordering another pair for street summer since my joe rocket ones are about spent and scorpion ones are a tad smalled about zero protection
  7. ugh wtf...I hate trying to work on bikes without instructions since I'm mildly ri-tarded. But I have shit for light in my garage so today is the perfect day since its sunny. Might have to do it the old fashioned way and just starting turning a wrench to figure it out
  8. For some reason I am unable to get to VFRdiscussion. This has been happening the last couple days and I need to get on to pull the how to of removing the front fairing. I thought maybe the site was just down for a day or 2 but in that time I received a PM (email notification) so now I think its my computer I can get to every other website I use just fine. I'm using google chrome and I tried using internet explorer and it would still time out. 1) What am I doing wrong? 2) Can anyone see if they can get to the site and see if my suspicions are confirmed?

    Honda Goldwings

If a goldwing is too much defintey look at an FJR, ST1300 or a Concours. Next step below that would be a vfr but to me it's more sport than it is tourer
  10. I think the biggest difference in the Hero 2 is all the things you can do with it. I'm sure its a slight upgrade in vid quality too
  11. if I can offer any advice at all...HAVE NEW OR GOOD CONDITION TIRES Went in June and rode on my death tires then went back in Sept with near brand new PR2's. Guess which time I had more fun with

  15. there might still be an 05 GSXR 750 in Dover I looked at that he was willing to take 3k for it with mostly cosmetic issues. Can't find it with a quick search and too tired to look in depth http://akroncanton.craigslist.org/mcy/2867680501.html
  16. http://cleveland.craigslist.org/mcy/2866294159.html http://cleveland.craigslist.org/mcy/2865924943.html http://cleveland.craigslist.org/mcd/2854522847.html
  17. in the 03-05 range? I can think of at least 4 600rr's in the Cle/Akron area listed at less than 4k that aren't bad buys. I know of 2 GSXR 750's in the Canton area that are decent buys under 4k as well. 636's could be bought in the sub 4k range.
  18. they're pretty much all over unless your expecting something low mileage and super mint...then you're gonna be looking for awhile
  19. define "newer body style" for $3500 you can usually find a good amount of any 600 in the 03-05 range
