  1. Don't let go and you don't have to worry about gear. And don't be a pussy!
  2. Different lakes have different rules on speeds. Most have HP rules over speed, however the bigger more popular lakes you don't have to worry about any limit. Just now sure you follow the markers on the lake and mind your speed at dusk.
  3. What did you go that fast on? What gear would you need other than life jacket? What kind of rules are you wondering about.
  4. Prob not much of a market on here for this but I'm posting it anyways. Someone could pick this up and swap it in their 1500 for a Hell of a truck 94 motor with 200k Bone stock, does not come with pump, gear, cover, or gear case $1,375 I have a video of it running before the truck came apart.
  5. At one point I got bored overseas and I grew tired of two of mine. They became uncomfortable so I cut the one off of my middle finger that grew high. It was not that painful. I had one that was embedded in my thumb pad. She. i cut it out it was like a plug, very deep in my thumb and extremely painful. They both returned at the same time 1 1/2 years later.
  6. The lack of the groco strainer is really hard on the riva i/c. Many tend to hold up a lot better with the strainers due to not getting clogged. Yours is similar modded to my RXT or my RXP?
  7. Yeah I know all about them. It is good for now. Also, it has metal pipes. I'm not a fan of the plastic either. Do you have a groco on yours? What all is done to your ski and how long have you had it?
  8. The RXT did 72.0 on GPS at 8180 rpms. That was fully heat soaked after 45 mins of riding with a full tank of fuel and my big ass on it. I bet it the right conditions it might get to 73 with a smaller rider. I'm happy with that. To bad its only going to get slower.
  9. ^^^^^^you're not going to buy shit
  10. Red ski and a yellow ski, wave us down
  11. Someone already has dibbs lol. What kind of boat?
  12. Anyone going to Alum tonight? I'm going to bring atleast the new ski out to get a couple more runs on it before I start taking parts off. Might have someone coming on the old ski with me as well.
  13. Sent you a PM with some info
  14. I can atleast ask. I don't get to make those calls.
  15. Ha ha, no worries, next weekend we are at the lake I will add that mod. I just don't want to get hurt like last time. Stop by today if you are in town.
  16. Hip injuries. He has bad arthritis and has led to other problems. He was getting rid of it so not to make anything worse. You a member of greenhulk? Have a ski, or just looking to get one.
  17. A lot of people here remember my old GTX's. I sold those to 99ta last year. 3 skis was just too much but one is not enough so I finally picked up a new one. Went on a ride today. I am impressed. First time on an RXT and I like the way they ride. I was looking for a rough water ski to replace the old 3 seater couches. This one take the waves even better. It shares the same bottom hull as the new GTX's. 2007 Seadoo RXT Viper Red 86 hours Seadoo X-Charger (08+ specs with metal washers) RIVA RRFPR Bosch 42lb Injectors RIVA External Intercooler RIVA Blowoff Valve RIVA AirIntake RIVA OPAS Blockoffs RIVA Rear Exhaust RIVA Sponsons RIVA Intake Grate RIVA 2 Degree Wedge Solas13/19R Impeller o2 Bung in J-Pipe Grocco Strainer Ride Plate HolesFilled Homemade Catch Can Pulls very strong mid range. My wife and I were riding double today in very choppy water and got 70.2 on the GPS. It's on the limiter, heat soaked, running rich as Hell, and didn't really stretch it out. I think it has 72 in it on perfect conditions the way it sits. I might tune it to turn the correct rpm with a prop re pitch and stick an lc-1 on to dial in the air/fuel but I'm not interested in making it any faster. In fact I might remove a couple of the steering mods. I don't like how a couple are making it react to turns. Like I said, I want this one to be more friendly and be relaxing. http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk251/XChris1632X/attachment.jpg http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk251/XChris1632X/attachment-1.jpg http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk251/XChris1632X/attachment-2.jpg
  18. If you were closer I would he glad to come help you. We stay more towards the northwest side of cbus with some exceptions but that's a little too far. If you would like, I can get the name of the company that someone I know out that way uses.
  19. Finally got some time tonight to make some progress. http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk251/XChris1632X/IMAG0530.jpg http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk251/XChris1632X/IMAG0531.jpg http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk251/XChris1632X/IMAG0533.jpg You can see where the gasket let go and was making all of the mess http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk251/XChris1632X/IMAG0532.jpg http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk251/XChris1632X/IMAG0534.jpg Very impressed by the look of the pistons and the cylinder walls. This engine has 210k hard miles on it and constantly sees over 1800 degrees. I was expecting to find that it was time for a new motor. Atleast signs of some real wear. http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk251/XChris1632X/IMAG0535.jpg Pictures don't do justice. My cell phone only takes good pictures when it wants to.
  20. I'm going to try to make it out next week to Alum creek one day. I am buying a new ski this weekend and I need to test it out a little.
  21. Yeah, I have 26 studs. I moved the truck back into the shop to start tearing it apart. Just driving it in, it is pissing oil worse with every start up. Hopefully this is the last time that will be the case. http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk251/XChris1632X/Toys/Hannah/IMAG0509.jpg http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk251/XChris1632X/Toys/Hannah/IMAG0510.jpg Started tearing it apart http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk251/XChris1632X/Toys/Hannah/IMAG0521.jpg I found the cooling system was starting to fill with oil. If you notice the thermostat you can see oil laying on top. http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk251/XChris1632X/Toys/Hannah/IMAG0528.jpg Couple more small things to pull apart and the head will be ready to come off. Having time to work on this shit isn't easy with a wife and kids. http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk251/XChris1632X/Toys/Hannah/IMAG0526.jpg
  22. It's about time! P.S. our little friend from Seattle is in Ohio for the weekend. Call him and help convince him to come to CBus.
  23. It is Toledo. Our jets in Springfield have been gone for a little over a year now.
  24. How much were they? I haven't touched the truck in 3 months. I have beeb busy. Now I am also trying to get the fishing boat cleaned up, the wake boat, and the jet ski ready for some good weather. The quads aren't even in the picture anymore.
