Bump for a great house in a great area. Anyone looking for a "country" setting would love it. Very quiet and open area, yet still provides great access to surrounding communities.

I have two 10 inch Memphis subs in a box and a 800 watt Memphis amp. Throughout the quest of faster quarter mile time this system has been removed. The box was made for the quad cab Chevy truck I had it in prior to my dodge but still fit under my dodge seat and also sat in front of the rear seat. One of the subs have started to develop a little extra vibration. I'm not at all suprised. I grew up with it but looking back it, its almost weird. It almost sounds like you live right around my grandparents. They live live off of rosehill and prior and their house sits on the creek. They have deer behind the house all the time. Infact just last week, my grandma got scared because they were on the street corner and in her way when she was trying to walk back to the house. Do you live in that area?

I like the vote for .17 also. Especially if you are new to rifles. These are great little inexpensive guns to shoot with. After you master the .17 you can start stepping it up. If you go to vances, you can almost always get a savage with an accutrigger on sale. Comes with a scope (not the greatest but they let you upgrade). These are very fun guns to shoot and can be much more forgiving than a big caliber.

Call huffer restoration. Gregg is a great guy to deal with and very knowledgeable. He can do an air test and tell you what direction to take. I had a mold issue and he came out and spent an hour and a half with me and gave me lots of tips, advice, and direction. He will also not try to take your money. I expected I needed a test on my mold and he advised against it to save me money due to my particular mold situation. I gave him 75 dollars for his time and went away feeling very relieved

How much was that scope? I dont know if I could get the SS barrel and put a black scope on it. After holding the thumb hole stock, I dont think I would be okay with a regular one.

is that the limited edition Lil Wayne model? My advice is to take that straight to the hilltop and try and sell that to a crackhead. You and him will prob be the only ones to appreciate that gun. Oh and lastly, make sure you turn it sideways when you shoot.

I am pretty sure he hasn't been in the car scene in years. He is an all out diesel truck guy now and pulls in the circuit. He did own a twin turbo ls1 this summer but that lasted about a week.

Not the most familiar with those engines particularly but it sounds like you have one of the models that has hydraulic actuated injectors via oil. A lot of times the o rings fail on the high pressure oil rail. This causes a pressure drop after oil is warm and takes a bit of cramming to build pressure up. Based on your post I assume you were headed this direction in replacing the pump. I assume you have replaced fuel filter as well. Make sure to also check battery and charging systems on it. There are known international ecm issues regarding voltage gremlins. Many trucks have had issues with the ecm wire to the battery. This isn't likely the issue here due to problems when warm but worth a check.

I'm willing to bet your injectors are fine. CDS can do just about anything but if you are trying to fix and sell I would buy a used injection pump and send it on its way. that is if it is an IP issue in the first place. Chances are its not but it isn't uncommon either. I wouldn't dump the money on CDS rebuilding it for sure. They do great work but they arent cheap.

Have you checked the fuel filter? Common fixes for this are tue fuel filter and fprv. If fuel pressure doesn't read high enough the truck will go into a fuel system limp mode, for ease of explanation. If you need anymore help with this issue pm me. After you get this fixed, I have a built trans with ATS internals sitting here that just went up for sale with co pilot.

Didn't see too many 17 talks on here but I have always been in the market for one. I have always ended wanting something else before this so I have never brought one home though. Now I am itching for a savage bad. I just want a bad ass varmit gun for my property kind of thing. Many friends of mine have these and I have shot a couple both with accutrigger and without. I have always kept my eye the Vances ads for these but have not committed yet. Yesterday I was in Dicks and just decided to look at some guns. First time I have seen the model with heavy stainless barrel and the thumb hole laminated stock. I think I'm sold on it. I didn't buy it because I wanted to shop around and I have no desire to buy from Dicks. Before I buy, I would like to hear some other people opinions on the different models and see some picks of a few setups as well. What do you guys have?
