    haha..

To bad he did not get a good shot of your face...the look of panic was priceless!
  2. The best part of riding is getting lost and finding your way! Take 83 -> 541 -> 62 -> 36 -> 71. You will only be on 62 and 71 for a short period. Slabing sucks, but the short period won't be bad for the way down. You can research a map before you leave the event and find a better route home.
  3. Welcome Lots of NEO riders, but we have to go south for the good roads!

    Intro

    Welcome and thank you!
  5. I am jumping on the bandwagon Derek, where is that video?
  6. It will happen again, we ride atleast one a month. You are more than welcome to join anytime.
  7. Nice to meet you Kent, great ride!
  8. Great meeting everyone today! Excellent group and great lead.
  9. No problem, we will ride again soon!
  10. Welcome! An all day ride with perfect weather, what more do you need?
  11. I can lead/sweep medium/medium fast if needed. I know the routes well, and rode most of the new route last Saturday. If you are not comfortable with me, being this is my first OR ride, that's cool too.
  12. About time you made yourself official! Welcome!
  13. I am down with the new route, 555 can suck if its dirty. Either way I am good.
  14. Yeah, 6:30 is fine, accidentally put the time I want to be there. I like to be early if possible...it's an OCD thing
  15. That works...6:15 it is...we will be at the BP station on the SE side of 71, easier in and out.
  16. I and two non board members will be meeting in cashockton. We are out of medina if anyone wants to ride togeather from Lodi.
  17. Congratulations Girl!
  18. Glad you walked away, glad your getting checked out! As for the how and why...he was not on the gas, or did not sound like he was accelerating when he went down. It appears to be a typical new rider mistake...panic grabbed and stepped on a whole lot of brake while target fixating on the lead rider. Although, this early in the year anything is possible.
  19. Solid place, they get my business! The big guy is not so bad...I think they pump in oxygen to keep up with all his talking...which I appreciate very much, makes you feel at home!
  20. Millersburg and down and back same day.
  21. You should have a noticeably firmer lever after braided stainless lines are installed. It may not seem like air could still be trapped in the lines, but it is there. Try to bleed a few more times and see if it firms up. After bleeding, pull the lever to the bar (after relieving pressure at the bleeder), and zip tie the lever and leave it overnight (make sure you re-tighten the bleeder). Pump it up i the morning and see if it did not help the lever feel. Last thing to try... Crack the banjo bolt at the master cylinder while pulling the lever (just like bleeding at the caliper), but do not crank on it...gentle pull and see if you get air (retighten the bolt before letting go of the lever). Make sure you cover the entire area with rags, and I would cover the bolt when you crack it and pull the lever. More than likely you have air trapped at the master banjo where the two lines attach.
  22. This does not add up. I have ridden this and many other brands at near zero and have not had a problem. They will be harder, and not much for traction. There is defiantly more to this story. There was thread and pictures going around a few years ago with Michelin PR2's having blown out the front and back causing a rider to go down. That thread made its rounds, and in the end looked to be a false claim. Just like the current ebay thread, some people will not admit fault, and will go to no ends to prove someone else is at fault.
