  1. Picking up what you are putting down! Sorry for your loss... My sister passed away 15 years ago, January 16th, 1998 at age 20. From mid January to my first warm ride is like prison. Need to feel the warmth of the sun and smell the smells of spring...new life.

This corner looks famillure to me, where was this picture taken?
  3. My typical saturday rides are like that...400-600 miles in a day! Although my FZ1 is way more comfortable than your CBR. I have three children and when I get a free saturday, I take advantage of the entire day. My group of riding buddies and I also ride to Barber for the Superbike races every year, so that gets the backside in shape for the summer riding season (Race is usually in early to mid spring).
  4. Your tire choice is not horrible, but they are no where near the performance of the BT023's or PR2's. I tried them when they came out after liking the Conti Road Attack, and they were shit...did not match my riding style and wore worse than the Road Attacks. The bad milage out of both Conti products is what led me to the BT023 and PR2. Both are very similar in grip and ride, but the 023's can be found for about $50.00 less than the PR2's.
  5. Had a 4 stroke Indian moped from 14 to 16...was the best thing ever! It would do a respectable 35 in stock form all day long. My buddy and I decided to do our first port and polish job during the last winter of my ownership. Fitted a larger carburetor and made some flow adjustments to the exhaust system. 45 was very achievable for a month or two...scrambled the valve train a month before my 16th birthday! Sounded way cooler at full song then my buddies Tomos and Batavus mopeds (2 Strokers) too. Helped me learn road smarts without being overwhelmed before throwing a leg over a full on motorcycle!
  6. Please count me in! This will be my first OR event of any kind. I visit daily, but am not a regular on the post scene. More than likely my normal riding buddy will be attending with me (not an OR member). I am in the Medina area as will as the person riding with me...if there is a group from this side meeting that morning and riding down the day of, I would like to be part of that. I will not be staying the night so if anyone is interested in caravanning back after the event let me know.
  7. Welcome! I grew up in Lima (Bath-Allen East Boarder) and my family still lives there, I will always call it home! The riding around Lima is rather flat and boring, but you are only a couple hours from fantastic roads.
  8. Good aditude! Amazing how many people can not figure out that being happy is a state of mind.

Lagerheads in Medina has a great selection of craft beer, brewed onsite! Personal Favorite is Bed Head Red, but Savage Stout takes a close second

+1 Love the IPA and Little Sumpin, both finish smooooth. When I was in San Fransisco Lagunitas and Russion River were on tap everywhere...was craft brew heaven! Left Hand is also making its way to my top list.
  11. Wonder where all of those Syrian chemical weapons came from...hmmmmm?

    Rain Tires

Bridgestone BT023 are great in the rain as well as in the dry. Michelin Pilot Road 2 are great in the rain and dry, but mat as good as 023 IMHO. Continental Road Attack are great in rain, but not quite as good as the two listed above. Some people just do not understand or have the capacity to understand. They take their limited experience/opinion and apply it to all things, then disregard reality.
  13. Looked at this to be fare, and came away laughing. The list of bed wetting buzzwords was too much...had to stop at the Walmart comment. Again, you bring politics and liberal ideology into a non political post. I assume its because you see the words "PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY" and become defensive. "Personal Responsibility" deconstructs your belief that everyone owes you something or is the reason for your problems. Never have I seen a person; attack, over react, or otherwise become defensive over simple discussions. Anything that is counter to your politics, even if not political at all, you will be there pissing your self all over the place.
  14. 1993 - 2003 Kawasaki ZX-6E (ZZR-600) Fantastic motor, comfortable and would make a great track bike (Has 17" rims and will accept current tire options) Only negative...second gear can be a problem if beat on.
  15. The most telling story is... Windows 8 is Microsoft's attempt to stop the bleeding created by Apple OSx and iOS devices which have a very unified look and feel. The pressure is on and I think they will choke!!!! Microsoft OS's are security nightmare junk!!! Still prefer a Linux box to all of them.
  16. Honda CBR600F4i, I believe they had that paint scheme in 2002-2003. It will fit any year through...even after they went back to the single seat.
