  1. Unfortunately, she will get let off with a slap on the wrist.
  2. That hood is a tragedy, other than that, kickass ride!
  3. Will likely see half of CR there, I'm in.
  4. Will read, thanks for posting (it still needs a turbo).
  5. Completed the Summer-Spec detail. Over 4 years of ownership and still no need to use a buffer on the paint.
  6. My go to wheel for most Asian/Euro cars is the RPF1. I pulled up the spec sheet and found this, it's pretty close to what you're looking for: - 5x100, 16x7+35 Enkei RPF1 come in at 13lbs.
  7. They are both bricks, why don't you just buy a suburban if you're dead set on a tank.
  8. Yes and No. My car has 74,000 miles and it is in fantastic condition, and I have no reason to believe it will not be good to go for another 74,000. However, not everyone who owns a car takes care it. As a result, I am leary of looking at any car that is over 60-70k.
  9. This. I have noticed that all of the new big trends on the Misc make their way over have. Pepper your angus, rustled jimmies, etc.
  10. Saw you driving through Westerville the other day down Spring St. The car looks great in person, so neat seeing a clean 86.
  11. The blue GTO was pretty good, he was able to apex the curbs mid corner pretty smoothly (albeit sideways). Looks like a fun time.
  12. Smooth shifting is matching revs to road speed. For example, if you shift at 3000rpm in 1st in my car, it will fall to 1600rpm in 2nd. A smooth shift would mean letting the revs fall to the desired RPM and pulling the clutch back out. Shifting too quickly (not letting the revs drop enough) or too slowly (revs dropping too far) is what makes people have jerky shifts.
  13. I thought he said "fun" cars?
  14. Washed it, only to find two scrapes on the driver-front and passenger-rear doors from people door dinging my car. http://i609.photobucket.com/albums/tt171/itsplasticlove/fuuuu.gif
  15. Thanks for all of your insight guys. The plan is to pull them off next weekend, but I will measure the rotors' thickness first and then judge accordingly.
  16. I was thinking about this, they are the original rotors, with 73k and have never been turned, so I was not sure about how much life they had left in them.
  17. Yeah, I planned on bringing just the rotors in. Thanks.
  18. I'll save you the wall of text, but long story short, my front rotors have heavy brake pad deposits, and the vibrations when slowing down are driving me crazy. I tried scuffing them with sandpaper, but that was not enough to fix it. Can you recommend someone who can resurface rotors in Columbus, or will your standard Tuffy, Monroe, etc. tire and brake shop do the job equally well?
  19. Only a fool would take a Chevy Sonic over an FR-S.
  20. Been browsing the Z Forums, and based on what I have seen, I am jealous. Those cars can fit some monster rubber for not being that big.
