  1. I like the remix. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QXnVM6StqYk
  2. I have had a set of PP 2CTs in my living room for the past couple weeks. I was going to install them after I wore out the stock Pirellis on vacation. Anyhow, I get to my destination and surprisingly the Pirelli's cords start showing on the rear. There wasn't a significant flat spot, so I thought I had more to go. I decided to go and get some tires the next morning for safety/fun purposes. After stopping at 2 or 3 motorcycle dealers with no success, I found a place that had tires and could install them rather cheaply. I was just happy that I was getting some new tires for the remainder of my vacation. Anyhow the only tires that they had in stock were Shinkos 009. After a few miles of new-tire breakin I started getting a little more aggressive (70% mark) (40-50 mph quick flicks in 20-25mph corners). After riding the Pilot Powers on my previous bike and the Corsa 3s previously, I can definitely feel the difference. If I ride at the 70% mark they are good, but I feel like I'm approaching the traction limits. I'm not an expert rider by any mark, but my assessment is that these tires are great for moderate street touring. I just don't get that feeling that I'm glued to the pavement like with the Michelins and Pirellis. In conclusion, I'm going to install the 2CTs as soon as I can. So, if anyone is interested in a slightly used set of Shinko 009s (180/55/120/70), they may be available soon.
  3. I love my 1125R. Passing cagers with the tach anywhere above 5K sounds awesome! She's a perfect sport-tourer. In order to complete the package I added a few accessories. A steering damper to enhance it's wheelie-friendliness. As you probably figured out, its front end likes to come off the ground. TechSpec tank grips, which seem to really help with cornering, fast stops, and preventing testicle damage. Fieldsheer Contour saddlebags, add some much needed storage for those multi-day trips. The only thing that may take a little to get used to is the heat. She doesn't like to go less than 35 mph and stop and go traffic can get a little warm on the legs.
  4. Yeah, the 03-04 636 is what I had in mind.
  5. Is he selling it? I'll be watching the craiglook and the classifieds for an older bike to setup with a cage and such, but I probably won't get something until next year. Everything is subject to change.
  6. Yep, I think it was Cap's Pizza. It was delicious.
  7. I don't plan on doing any wheelies at the track. Incidental power wheelies would be fun, but I don't want to endanger any fellow riders. I think I'll stick to the streets for wheelies.
  8. The guys were very down to earth and explained everything really well. It definitely exceeded my expectations. That's exactly what I needed to level up my skills. I learned a lot about how to set up my bike. Got a few wheelies where I felt like I was going to die, slammed into the bar hopped the bike. And then after that it was great! By the end I could confidently get a wheelie anytime and have reasonable control on the height. I knew I'd enjoy wheelies, but I never thought this would change me into a wheelie addict.
  9. Wheelie School was awesome! Seeing the Starboyz stunts live is unbelievable. I'm not to up to date on the stunt names, but they did some impressive work throughout the day. Scott did a 1-foot on the tank/ 1-foot in the air wheelie. And then Kevin did a few stoppies with like 50-yards of rolling.
  10. Some people just don't know how to react when they are proven wrong.

    Wtf?!

Looks like a sweet movie. It looks like something that Might (not sure it's quite up to par) make it into the next Horrorfest. Horrorfest 4 is an awesome set! If I were to recommend one film as an introduction to Horrorfest 4, it'd be The Final. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w5FDCxIRe1s
  13. If you see the "Made By Shervin Rezaiy" logo on a used bike, buy it immediately because it has to be awesome. Next time I see a mod that didn't turn out quite right, it'll be enough to say, "Made by Shervin Rezaiy."
  14. I'm thinking that their friends probably have/had a 1000 something, so they had to match it. If that was the case, they should have went with 1001 or 1069. At least make it somewhat of a conversation piece.
  15. That's awesome! This guy sprayed elk urine in his mouth (1:50) to attract elk, but got attacked by a whitetail. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=khKrd1RNy2U
  16. I got pulled over once for receiving that, supposedly I was swerving a little. No ticket, just a sobriety check.
