  1. I wonder if they got a legit production car or a juiced up PR car.
  2. This was a pretty cheap build with the Anderson lower and PSA Freedom kit that had the upper already put together and all the lower parts. I can see where some higher-end parts might fit together easier, but now that I see how it all functions doing this again shouldn't be an issue.
  3. That totally fixed the issue, thanks for the tip. I was chasing my tail last night trying to figure out what the hell the problem was. I tore the thing down and built it several times trying to see if I missed something or where it was catching. Glad it was a simple fix. Now to get some iron sights on it, mount the optic, and see if it goes click bang.
  4. Okay that makes sense now. The channel where that tip goes seems to be a possible sticking point. I'm going to take the tip off and get some lube in there to see if that fixes the issue.
  5. What pin? The pointed end that goes into the receiver and is held in by the spring?
  6. After everything is put together the selector just stays on fire and won't rotate to safe. That's really the only issue I'm having
  7. Got it pretty much together but for some reason the fire selector switch is being a whore. The video Grant posted is actually one of the better ones out there and made sense.
  8. Thank you Naked or dressed as a bunny? 10-4
  9. Got all of my tools, got a stripped lower, got a PSA upper kit that's assembled. What is the best YouTube video(s) to use as my guide to play legos with this stuff? I've found a few but I want to make sure I'm doing this right.

Made this awful thread worth the click. +6 internet points for Clay :fuckyeah:
  12. Yes, we are our own editors 99% of the time. This was actually written by my editor and he must have missed that. Here's the thing, doing a copy edit on your own stuff is very hard. You read it in your mind that it's correct, even when you have things like this pop up. That and the fact that we're writing thousands of words a week, running the magazine, putting out fires, and doing all kinds of other stuff things get missed. Now you know why I don't hang out in chat anymore
  13. I'm on there just to laugh at the janky stuff posted there and all the half ass work done. It's like a G e A r Head training center..
  14. This car is along the lines of what I've wanted to build for a while but don't have the skills. http://www.dragzine.com/news/rebel-with-a-cause-this-junkyard-ls-swapped-caprice-is-no-joke/
  15. Race car stuff, engines throwing rotating assembly parts out on the dyno, new uses of old curse words, and other fine entertainment moments.
  16. If you like free, you're going to love this http://www.horsepowerwars.com We start filming episodes next month for the first series. I'm on the $10,000 Drag Race show project team and we are starting planning for that next month. This is just the first season, we have some pretty cool stuff in the idea pipe for next year too.
  17. Churches need the knowledge suppressed because it's in direct conflict with what the pedal. Hell, there are entire countries that this would wreck. I'm more interested in the science side of things when it comes to little green men.
  18. People can't use logic or figure things out on their own. They just want "facts" fed to them and don't want to think. I have to spend way more time on social media then I really like to for work and it blows me away what people think is real because they read it on the internet, or some talking head said it. Hell, some of the stuff in the performance industry I see people spouting off to get attention hurts to read. I can't wait for when the real and solid proof of alien life shows up. People are going to freak out that their belief system MIGHT be a bit off
  19. The mainstream media has zero credibility these days, so don't expect certain stories to see much of a push.
  20. Couple years ago that jet truck in the video ripped the pavement up at Norwalk in the burnout box and sent it flying into the mouth-breathing idiots who were standing behind it. That was some crazy shit and shows how powerful these jets are. Just standing trackside along the wall when they go by and feeling the jet blast and heat is intense.
  21. The level of nope on this is pretty damn high. I don't even like to stand trackside with these things going, let alone in the middle of the track.
  22. ‪Alabama Last Night:‬ ‪Watched Ohio State win their 2nd game against a top 4 team (undefeated Wisconsin) ‪Watched one of their “quality wins” in Fresno State lose to unranked Boise State Watched Ohio State ‪Play for a Conference Championship
  23. Well after our 4th gen F-body pretty much went undefeated in the NMCA West our company owner decided he wanted to do something new. This is our state-of-the-art C7 drag radial car that will be running at all the big events this year. With a ProCharged Pro Line Racing Hemi under the hood this thing is going to be nuts. Getting to really learn some cool stuff about what it takes to build a car like this besides piles of cash and assistance. http://www.dragzine.com/project-cars/blownz06-chassis-build-part-1-with-pmr-race-cars-quarter-max/
  24. Econ 101, some people get it, others don't...
  25. It's a problem everywhere, people don't want to work. Most of my racing friends that run businesses can't find people that want to work, and I'm talking about jobs that pay well.
