  1. Option 1 for sure. Get a CTS-V, lightly mod, and enjoy. Plenty of nice 1500 trucks out there to get that will fit your needs as well.
  2. Looks like somebody needs a hug? Maybe Catlin Jenner or Rupal can help you out with that? Fun fact, I've owned several clutch cars and was actually going to pull the trigger on a 6-speed Camaro until I needed a truck. Additional fun fact: My goal in life is to own something fast enough that requires a Liberty or G-Force transmission. Final fact: CLUTCHLOLZ
  3. I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact that to be in the hunt at a Radial vs The World race you now have to be running in the low 3.80 range in the 1/8th mile. That's Pro Mod fast on a small ass tire! Here was the 3.97 pass on our car, they are still trying to get it sorted out to lean on it more. I'm thinking it will be a mid 3.80s car when they start to really lean on it.
  4. Maybe.... Trying to nail down a list of stuff so we don't forget anything. You should see the fabrication tools list we are coming up with
  5. What are the "must have" hand tools for working on/building a race car? If you were stocking a brand new shop, what would you be adding to your shopping cart? This is for a shop that is doing everything to build a race car but paint and body work? Asking for a project that I just got added to at work
  6. We've got a few other shows coming too in the Horsepower Wars series for this year. Engine dyno challenges, Camaro vs Mustang head to head, and another surprise show that is being finalized too.
  7. One of the insane projects I'm working on this year is the Horsepower Wars $10K Drag Shootout show we're putting together. We've already got some big racers that are looking to put teams together and try to win this deal. Best part is you'll be able to watch all the shows for free on the Power Automedia YouTube channel. We're also going to be doing a bunch of articles to go along with it on Dragzine. Link to Announcement http://www.dragzine.com/news/horsepower-wars-10k-drag-race-shootout-application-released/ Link to the extra $10,000 Summit Motorsports Park is throwing in http://www.dragzine.com/news/summit-motorsports-park-adds-10k-prize-money-horsepower-wars/
  8. Yeah, I agree on this for sure. Netflix is putting out amazing content for sure.
  9. If it makes you happy fuck everybody else. Tranny fetish LOL
  10. I'm you're huckleberry...
  11. Sooooo that's all CR has these days? Maybe if we tossed some trump talk in here people would be interested? Does anybody actually go to the track anymore or do they just talk about the "good old days"? As long as we get the parts in time for the Red Dragon is should be ready when TnT starts for testing on the next article. Come on out and race, you won't go to hell for it I promise.
  12. Skinner said he talked with code enforcement and I can't have a trailer parked on my property at all. I'm fine with having a pad that is just right off the driveway by a 1/2 inch so it's not "touching" the driveway itself and I can still get it there without going through my yard.
  13. I'm wondering if it's one of those things that doesn't get enforced until someone bitches, sort of like the guy across the street from me who left a truck in the same spot for 2 years. I REALLY don't want to leave a trailer in a storage yard, that's pretty much just setting a timer and waiting for it to get stolen.
  14. So I've been informed that the lovely city of Columbus doesn't allow for trailers of any kind to be parked in or around your house. I really need to get out of the city...
  15. Who have you used in the Columbus area? I'm hoping that my main driveway will just need a resurface and then I want to add a pad right beside it to eventually park a trailer on. I know Sam does concrete but I don't have baller dollhairs to do a full concrete driveway.
  16. On a TnT night you can just pair up in the lanes with who you want to race and let the guy in the head of staging know when you're up there. At Cash Days you just line up with whoever you want and race it out. They are really cool about making that happen. Pacemakers is MUCH friendlier towards racers IMO for stuff like this.
  17. We will have a lot of testing to do with the car this summer so anytime we're out and about I'll make a post. If anybody is feeling froggy there will also be the Pacemakers Cash Days events, lots of racing to be had there, if you actually race.
  18. So far out of this shit show we got one race locked in between me and Paul, on motor, bracket racing.... CR should be better....
  19. If you want to meet up on a Wednesday night at Trails or at a Cash Days at Pacemakers I'll bracket/index race you and split your wig on motor, that's fine by me.
  20. Save that bracket racing stuff for the Wednesday night hereos, heads up or shut up
  21. It happens all the time in the real racing world. Guys wheel other guys cars they're partners with on the car or just get to drive it. Andrew Alepa has guys drive for him, Stevie Jackson does it for guys, Jason Carter does it for Mark Mickie. There's a lot of times where Scott has to drive the car so me so I can shoot pictures or I'm trying to see what it's doing so we can tune on it.
  22. For those who actually race something other than a mini van, keyboard, or your wife's reproductive system, and are tired of political talk, who wants some this spring? To keep things someone nice no money down or required Can be on the track for those who don't race on the street Make your call out here, lock in races here, and have fun And no Gary, I won't bracket race you.
  23. I like to drag race because I can afford it, but I'll go to any kind of racing to watch for sure.
