A speeding ticket probably would have cost you more in the long run with insurance. If you feel the speeding ticket is better go to court tell the judge you want the speeding ticket instead and self admit you were speeding.

Imagine there were people out there that wanted to kill you for selling KTM's. Then you had to approach people without being able to see them and try to sell them a KTM. Walking up to a car not knowing if a .50cal Barrett is pointed at your dome kinda sux.

I think the jump he did in the video was to make the bike think the key was in the "on" position. I think the third hole would be for the "P" (parking light) position. But I think the newer sportbikes have a more sophisticated ignition set-up.

I saw it in the movie Pulp Fiction you can just stab someone in the heart with a big ass needle and inject epinefrin (how ever its spelled) and it will fix whatever is wrong with them. Are you hitting the start button or just trying to get it to turn by touching the wires like in the movies? The old 73 cb I had, had the ignition key broke off in the ignition before I bought it so I had to hot wire it and the starter button had to be pushed to get it to start. Try wiring it up so everything powers up then cross the terminals on the starter solinoid. Might work but it also could be set up to not start with out the proper key which means its not going to be cheap to fix.

If someone recognizes the officer in the video and starts a discrimination suit against the officer and he gets put on leave he may need to cover his time off with his own leave. Or if he gets paid leave for the duration of the trial he won't get any premium pay (overtime, night pay,special duty pay ect.) that he's used to. With the amount of time it can take for a lawsuit to clear up that can really hurt the wallet. It's a tactic used by a lot of attorneys trying to push for a settlement. I saw that a few times while I was a corrections officer in Ohio. Every time the officer ended up getting cleared but it did hurt their wallet. That's just one way it could get the officer.

I had a set from ebay. Most of the holes were off and filled with paint. Each hole was close but each one was off a little bit so it added up and since the fairings tie together one side wouldn't line up. I had to take them off and dremel and file the holes a little bigger. I also had one of the lowers melt from exhaust heat. Luckily my stock lowers were still good and matched. From a distance it was ok but the clear coat was very thin and the paint was chipping away up front after 1 season. I would suggest getting a set of track fairings (shark) to get you through on the track this year. Then save up this winter and get oem for the street. Then since you have a track set you won't have to worry about tearing up you oem fairings.

It may be true that she shouldn't have a license but doesn't mean she won't have one or won't be driving. With the many factors that cause them to appear like the highs are on maybe they aren't worth pissing people off. Yeah its the riders choice to have them but it pisses other motorists off. It has the potential to cause someone to drive unsafe or become pissed to the point of road rage. Putting the brighter lights on a vehicle that has adequate lighting is a dick move. It obviously is affecting the other drivers. If they feel blinded by it he's going to have to deal with their reactions. You never know when a crazy f**k is going to snap. Just like the redneck tries to kill biker video from awhile ago. Those riders did nothing personally to the guy in the truck and outta nowhere he decides he's going to run them off the road. The I don't care if I piss everyone else off I do what I want attitude is a good way to push a crazy person over the edge. But if your comfortable with the risk by all means do it but don't expect me to feel sorry when an incident happens.

Been through the training and actually doing it in real life are 2 different things. . Now I don't deal with traffic violations (just felonies) in my line of work I know that defense attorneys will try anything to get their clients off. It was stated that this video couldn't affect the officer. It going to court would affect him and the tickets he chooses to write. It also sets up the officer for a potential discrimination lawsuit. It doesn't matter if the case is won or lost it will still affect him.

If these are the girls this is probably more of a cruiser thing, looks like they'd know their way around a HOG.

Apparently you haven't dealt with many defense attorneys. How can the cop say it was ok to not ticket him at over 25mph over the speed limit but someone else going less over the speed limit should have a ticket? In a time where budgets are at a low and people are feeling their tax dollars are being wasted people feel cops should be doing their job aka writing tickets.

Talking about it and showing proof of him not doing what is expected of him on a public forum are two different things. If you had a friend who worked at say a restaurant who gave you a huge discount just because. Letting the owner know may not be in your friends best interest. Now let's say I get a ticket from the same cop for 25 or less. I go to court with your video. I claim I thought it was ok because he politely let you go. How's he going to justify that to the court? Now say I'm of a different race and I claim the reason he ticketed me was due to my race. What argument would he have to prove otherwise?
