It makes sense, since the .40 is simply an upgraded 9mm. Although I joke, the gun-choice lacked taste in this scenario.

My NEF 410 is loads of fun on small game and even upland (a challenge ).

Get a <$100 NEF or H&R. 410 and a Marlin/savage/Ruger. 22 and your at the same price point.

Won't go wrong with either. Ruger 10/22 is a better choice than the Mossburg IMO. In Ohio, don't overlook a 20 gauge shotgun. You can take small game, waterfowl, upland birds and deer.

I picked up a similar gun at Vances for $250 a while back. Trigger is slick as pup-shit. Good deal, not a great deal at $200. I would have bought it for that though.
