  1. Maybe you can exchange for the xl? The arms always seem long while not on the bike, but positioning makes them right.
  2. There was a beautiful bright red Raider at IP today.
  3. That holster looks great! Let me know when you start selling. I'd love some nice OWB in that leather.
  4. Rough week at work, so I took a vacation day for some range therapy. Started the day at cabelas to burn some Cabelas points.... Bought a magazine extension for the Benelli and a sweet bulldog case/backpack so I can ride to the trap fields this summer. Hit New Albany after and sent 475 rounds down range from the Sig and a new Walther PPK. Very therapeutic. The PPK is surprising very accurate. I have a Crossbreed for it and am considering putting it in the carry rotation.
  5. Nice meeting you too. Didn't really matter what color they were a month ago....they're both white today.
  6. I have 4 15-round OEM Glock 19 magazines. Lightly used, if at all (range mag went with the gun)..... $85 or 300 rounds of 9mm or .380. 1 Concealment Solutions Sidewinder OWB holster for G19..... $35.... Or 100 rounds 1 Concealment Solutions Mamba IWB Holster for G19...... $45..... Or 150 rounds I wore each maybe 5 times. Pics later. $150 or 500 rounds takes it all.
  7. I'll keep the bagger but I'll add something within the next two seasons..... Thruxton? Striple? BMW F800S? Not really wanting a full-tuck RR, but something more agile. It really will be hard to beat the old FZ6. That was a great machine. Maybe I'll find another?
  8. These are very accurate, easy to shoot guns. Price with mags is good. GLWS

    40 hours / week x 52 weeks regardless of payday = 2080

He's not looking for insurance and benefits included. He can't do that math as he pays others to do that. Take your hourly and multiply by 2080 and that's your annual wage (OT not included). If you have OT on top of that and will be going to a salaried position, take that into consideration in your calculation. You are in a very special negotiating position since you don't really want/need a change. I hesitate to think in terms of percentages since I don't know what you do and how much you make. $10K per year is a good jump if you make <$50k. A few questions to ask yourself: Are you one of many people who will be in the position? If so, your ability to negotiate may be limited by EEOC or Union. If you will be one of a very few, go high. How big is the company? A billion dollar company won't feel $20k vs $10k. Don't bluff. Decide that this is going to happen at a certain rate and won't if not met. We can sniff out a bluff. Was the request for an offer a "we gotta have you, how much do you want?" Or was it a "we have give good candidates, who can we afford?". Also a game changer. From your description, it sounds like they want you. Good luck! As for vacation, bigger companies who don't want a union will not be flexible with vacation. I have the same vacation as my CEO and as my custodial staff. Keeps the playing field even.
  11. I love my shotguns, but never have owned a Beretta or an auto-loader (other than a Mag 10 that I've never fired).
  12. Picked up a few over the holidays. I found a great deal on an unfired PPK and 1200 rounds of .380 as well as a slightly used Beretta AL391 Urika. Looking forward to hitting the clays course with the auto-loader.
  13. Just like the game of Tug-o-war. Extremes at either end move the middle. The middle is moving towards a culture that tolerates, if not embraces homosexuality because of it "being shoved down our throats". I think it's a good thing. Who really gives a shit what people do in the bedroom and who they fall in love with? By the right shoving gun rights "down our throats" we have a culture where the middle is moving towards tolerance of firearms private ownership.... Look at the CHL statistics in Ohio. Look at gun sales statistics, look at the proliferation of large gun stores, shortage of ammo, etc. In all of this Duck Dynasty nonsense, my rub is that when I don my camo and hit the woods, I'm painted with the same brush as those (albeit entrepreneurial geniuses) dumbass hillbillies.
  14. Didn't ride much at all this past year. Changed jobs at work and now I'm pretty tied to the damn phone.
  15. I'm out. Thanks for putting this together though.
  16. Picked up a shiny stainless CZ75B this weekend.
  17. Seems to be quite a bit for the scope. Vance's has the Optuma with scope mount for $219. I know that's a drive, but FFF prices are usually right with Vances. Download Vances current flier for comps. Personally, I love hunting with my traditional muzzleloader. It's a .50 caliber Hawken under the Cabelas label. Very accurate and tons of fun to shoot and hunt with. The key to muzzleloader hunting is proper cleaning after. That powder residue attracts moisture like a mo-fo.
