  1. I've never had an issue with it. I've test-ridden several that I've bought or looked at. No one has ever said "no". I've allowed test rides on all three that I've sold...FZ6, Nighthawk, and my 883. I would be a little more cautious with the big Victory though. Slow speed handling of a big bagger is very different at first.
  2. Subscribed. I've earned a bike weekend. Not going to commit, but very interested.
  3. I would be interested in seeing statistics or even hearing anecdotal evidence of someone who defended themselves without "retreating" and was subsequently convicted. My bet is that legitimate self defense isn't going to be an issue. That being said, get DTR off the books. Just one more thing for your lawyer to defend.
  4. I did Burks County, but that is pretty far into PA... Closer to Phili/Harrisburg.

Bosch is the way to go.
  6. I'd go in the website, print off the documents, fill them out, and then take them in ready to go. They will take your Ohio CHL, do some checks on it, and then issue one for PA. Really is very easy.
  7. Not that helps for the immediate, but PA CCW is easy to get if you have an Ohio CHL. I was doing work in Reading, walked in at the Sherrif's office and had a permit in 30 minutes with an apology for taking so long. Opens up several other states like GA to me.
  8. Correct.... In open sight if no permit. Concealed if CCW/CHL.
  9. Thank goodness! Now let's get back to talking about how we won't buy a bike unless the dealership takes a loss and how we use the brick and mortars to try stuff on and then buy online. All is well. Really is good to see this. I've never purchased there, but I've sat on a few Thruxtons in Oakwood.
  10. I would still buy a thruxton or v7 over those.
  11. The Remington R1 continues to get great reviews from Gun Tests (really the only print source in which I have reasonable trust). I bought one brand new last spring and was really disappointed in the loose fit. The trigger was sloppy, the slide was loose, really felt cheap. I sold it before I ever shot it. But as I mentioned, the reviews have rated it a top notch bargain 1911.
  12. I frequent the interstates, but generally I see three types of bikes riding in the cold and wet.... Harley Baggers, Goldwings, and BMW. That's it really.
  13. I've said/written it before....call me a "fanboy" if you want, but I had an outstanding experience buying a new bike from IP. They gave me as much on trade as I was asking for my FZ6 on here, got me into great financing and extremely low interest rate, and then lowered the price below my internal ceiling. My only complaint.....by my calculations, they owe me 110 t-shirts. Just throwing that out there.
  14. After spending coin on two Browning O/Us last spring, I still find myself shouldering the old Wingmaster on the trap field. But the 26" double will always be my pheasant gun. Different guns for different purposes. Although I've never handled one, the Ruger Doubles have a great reputation.
  15. I ride a cruiser so there's never anyone in front of me.
  16. Motohio- been there ready to buy, but as stated... Won't move off of MSRP. Tried with a 2yo leftover Rocket III and again with a 696. Ask- bought my FZ6 there.... Bait and switch, shitty assembly of the bike... Crooked bolts, scratched, etc... Hinderer- bunch of dick-bag 17 year olds. Really turned me off from even considering a Honda. Iron Pony... Very satisfied. Deal was easy, came way down from sticker, courteous, easy/low financing.... Very likely to buy there again.
  17. Lol... Actually, it's not unreasonable for a guy who enjoys guns. MSRP on a BT is $1500, used at $900-$1000 all day long. The benelli is $500-$550 retail or Armslist. Just throwing it out there half-serious, half courtesy bump for a guy I've never met, but would probably get along with.
  18. Bump! Or trade for a Browning BT-99, an unfired NIB benelli supernova tactical with pistol grip, and $500?
  19. Used to go to OBX every summer. About four years ago, we arrived at our $3000 per week right-on-the-beach house to find that every morning at about five AM a group of about 20 baby-fucking-boomers would cut through our yard and set up a tent about ten yards in front of the house. After a week of confrontations, pissing matches, and sabotage, I vowed never to return. The tourists have over run the banks.
  20. Know that feeling well.
