    car was a total loss?? wtf needs a windshield and a new floor pan. That is pretty kickass though

     

    Wiring harness and headers were "toast" and it tore 2 pieces off the rear of the block.... Still I agree a total loss? Maybe to the insurance Co, but you can fix that.

    So you openly admit to fucking over a stranger that you've only talked to on the phone for an extra buck but not someone on a car forum? What's the difference, because you may have to deal with me later? Because you don’t want people to think you’re an ass? You don't know me, we’ve never met and judging by your open view on the subject (making it known in a thread started by you) why would I believe that you'd do right by me…. If it’s about money then fine, make some extra money at others expense. If it's about doing the right thing, then no, you fucked that up.

    I always set a time with a transaction. If the time expires with no communication or counter offer then it is closed and open to the public. Pretty fucking simple process.

     

    He has issues with selling things and doesn't know how to act. So simple is all relevant.

    To avoid the issue altogether, do not 'agree' to anything other than a sale with cash in hand.

     

    Buyer: "Can I pick this up on Saturday, I don't get paid until Friday".

     

    Seller: "Absolutely, if the item is still available on Saturday, and you show up with cash in hand it is yours."

     

    The buyer knows where you stand, and you still, in a way, agree to sell to them should your terms be met.

     

    Yep, next time just try being upfront with people, then they know what to expect. From the byers point of view it's a bitch thing to do. So just be upfront & you won't have this problem.

    It doesn't start up at all but will turn over just fine. How would I have pressure if the pump isn't working?lol Your problem was probably the MAF or FP resistor correct?

     

    Just making sure that the pump is the problem is all I was getting at. You said you were going to check for spark later so I thought why not check for fuel pressure first.

     

    And no, my issue was with the VATS (Vehicle Anti-Theft System). The security light in the gauge cluster is the one that may or may not come on and cause issues.

    Maybe it's just and Ohio thing, but why does everyone hate the Gators organization!? Men lie, women lie but the numbers don’t. What they’ve done the past few years has been very impressive and as a fan of the game, I’d imagine that most would have to appreciate a good thing.

    a lot of info on there for ya...

     

    a lot of people have had problems with the CPS.... it would start then randomly die on the highway.

     

    check to see if you have "any" voltage to the pump....

     

    I had this happen to me. No security light either. The car would sometimes start up and run fine for a while then randomly stall do to lack of fuel. Or sometimes it just wouldn't start. I replaced the pump thinking that was the issue only to have it happen again a few days later. If you can scan the car to see what codes it has that would help. Security codes don't always throw a Check Engine Light.

     

    Do you have fuel pressure?
