  1. I would sell it and buy one without the cheesy engraving to use.

Re: trailer - Welcome to WOODBURY!
  4. I bring batteries inside and put them on a tender because I have one. They'd probably be fine just sitting but I would at least disconnect them and clean the outside so a parasitic load or leak doesn't completely discharge them. Forgot about the pre-storage oil change. What Hellmutt said is true. Do the oil change now, and that oil will be just fine to run in the spring.

    Browns

Browns have won every game I've attended in the past six years.
  6. I never used stabilizers, just filled the tank to the brim to keep moisture out. I don't really trust the stabilizers, and I don't think pump gas is going to get too bad in six months with minimal exposed surface area. I would siphon the gas, dump it in my truck and give the bikes a fresh fill in the spring, mostly just to be safe going straight to the track.

    Spoiler. http://www.27bslash6.com/walkingdead.html
  8. Pretty sure the poker dealers get waitress pay plus tips. Heard they got minimum wage for the four weeks of training. Full and part time positions are still listed on the website. In addition to background/credit, can't smoke and can't play there.
  9. It's that way throughout. I was nearly enraged with the first four poker dealers I saw Tuesday night. You had to tell them what to do and even who won. It's like they were charity cases from the local MRDD or something. I made a snarky comment to the manager in passing and he said, "It's only their second day, give them time." I also heard since it's the first casino in the area, no one in the area is skilled. I happen to know several skilled people that were rejected based on "personality" or whatever. I expected whoever got hired at least new how to play the game - I didn't expect them to let these people learn during live action. It seems to have gotten better since, or maybe I've just been lucky in the rotation. There are some experienced professionals in there, I guess I just expected them all to be.
  10. Just the other night I was wondering how deer crossing signs get put up. Is it some ecological study or is it just after the nth deer gets hit there. If I'm driving a two-lane wooded area around here and see the sign, it's kinda "No shit, thanks for the info."
  11. My gut feeling is an unskilled hot shot has a better chance of survival on a Busa than a 600 supersport. Something that big and heavy commands more respect. Maybe he whiskey throttles into a parked car, but once you get to the high speed freeway chases is it really going to make much difference? If his ego is too big for a small twin, might as well let him get what he wants.
  12. Funny, the only place I ever flew for work was Everett, Washington. I was a co-op, went on a couple hours notice, and the company spent more on that 10 day trip than they paid me all summer.
  13. Are you sure you got the date right? They haven't shown up yet and I have other shit to do. Have we met before? Do you work for VVV Public Relations?
  14. I know, because my parents' neighbor was a cunt.
  15. A little piece of information I could have used 13 years ago.
  16. Did not know/read this I doubt you can legally park on a public sidewalk anywhere. At friends' houses in Rochester,NY with no driveways we got ticketed for any attempt to park in the yard, etc. Some car covers have a window for a license plate. I know in Parma current registration has to be visible on any car parked in front of a house including the driveway. I was thinking "perhaps the staff of the sanitation department were overcome by the monotony of their job and decided to play a childish prank" when I said "practical joke." If cars are regularly parked on the street I doubt the motorcycle would bother them much. As for it being stolen/unregistered/uninsured, I imagine the news story would have been a different tone.
  17. a) it wasn't necessarily left there for 8 weeks straight, it could have just been there every Thursday morning for 8 weeks. b) some cities don't even have off street parking, and not all have a Parma-style "decency" law c) the only possible way I could see them putting this on him is if they had proof that the cover covered the license plate d) there must be a practical joke, bad blood or insurance scam in play - nobody could possibly be that dumb.
  18. But I want a piece of that paycheck before it's gone.
  19. Old school trick: rotate to BDC, fill with shaving cream, drill and tap, crank motor.
  20. Picking up on Twitter and Facebook that they are intermittently "closing" and turning people away due to full capacity.
  21. Anyone head down there? Anyone nearby know the traffic situation?

  23. I think that's what Rossi said at first.
