  1. See, it varies. What happened to me in 2002 doesn't really matter any more. FWIW the 83/55 did indeed end up being a 2pt speeding violation on my abstract. P.S. Which it should be according to the ORC link.
  2. Maybe, sorta, it could have been interpreted that way. The initial accusation was drag racing, but I was really just following a friend at a high rate of speed. The way I understood it at the time was that the reckless was based on speed alone. So you're telling me if I get clocked at triple digits on a clear road I only get two points? Not what I need to hear...
  3. My ticket was reckless op added to speeding (83 in 55) based on a "more than 20 over" rule the locality had. Prosecutor offered to drop the speeding and keep the reckless op without even being asked. I asked for the other way around and he said the locality was pressuring them to make the reckless op charges stick (in general, not just my case).
  4. If it was me - which it wouldn't be, been there done that about 9 years ago - I would get a lawyer. Like you however, I wouldn't know who to call. My old insurance company treated reckless op the same as DUI or drag racing - instant high-risk.
  5. I was pumped on Sunbury fireworks last year. I had spent the whole weekend travelling to Red Bud and whatnot, and come Sunday evening I was thinking, "Damn, I didn't even see fireworks this year." A few minutes after I went to bed, shit starts blowing up outside. I got dressed again and walked down to the end of the street where there was a great view. Made my weekend and was way more than I expected out of these little towns around here, especially with the recent economy. Sounds like a party. You drive from Parma to Columbus to see fireworks?
  6. Because Rossi started doing it. When he was winning.
  7. Still on page 1... but I'm sure the next seven pages are awesome.
  8. I dropped a dirtbike wheel off there once to change the tube since I was too lazy to source one and do it myself. Was surprised that there is really no mention of the place on the internet - he seems to always have alot of work there, must have a loyal customer base and some good word-of-mouth. Seems like a good place.
  9. That's because you only meet the nicest people on a Honda.
  10. Don't really care about spelling/grammar/punctuation, but I had to read this a couple times due to lack of apostrophe.
  11. I would say that there is no way that gasoline can weigh 9lbs per gallon, but there are enough people in this thread arguing stuff they really don't know all too much about.
  12. Yet you chose to advertise your car as a "Mitz."

  14. Anybody gonna be there? I'll be the guy trying to calibrate a GPS datalogger down the back straight first lap out and then trying remember I'm running GP shift the rest of the evening. On that note, if anyone in with the powers that be can get me a cold lap before sessions start that would be great. Of course if it rains they'll all be cold laps.
  15. Since this thread was jacked long before I got here: Anybody got an extra Bazzaz "pull" switch lying around? It'll be some time before I put my faith in this newfangled thingy. Before using it, I'm curious - how deliberate do you have to be with the shifts? If you're too gradual with the pressure can you miss the kill window, or does it trigger at a high enough load to guarantee an upshift?
  16. Do both. STT has an awesome novice program. Midohio pretty much copies it.
  17. There's industry left in Cleveland, Akron or Youngstown?
  18. Damn, why didn't I think of that? Where do I find these people?
