  1. I wipe down with a damp sponge and use Lexol conditioner.
  2. The Two Brothers on my track bike is loud and annoying as phuck. Sounds like that's what you're going for. If you had an 07 I'd trade you.
  3. Assuming he was in the "green" group, looked like he was just trying to stay with them as they made a group pass and had a lapse of attention for both where he was on track and what the guy in front of him was doing. I too think he "could have easily braked before that happened," but as a novice there could have been a number of factors he was uncomfortable with in that situation and just froze up.
  4. I'm loaded up and ready to go for tomorrow... we'll see how I feel in the morning. Nelson today was painfully hotter than I expected... I'm the slow guy on either the #67 or the orange KTM...
  5. Good time today to see Chris and Craig again, and meet Tyler, Matt, Steve, Jinu and others. I still suffer from this sudden onset of suck though and the bike is still for sale... Good luck to those racing tomorrow and be safe.
  6. Should be there about 7:45... a grubby unshowered mess
  7. Will that get the cheese off this plate after I finish this lasagna? I need a dishwasher up in this bitch...
  8. Gonna try and do this last minute. Will be trying to wake up at 4:30 and drive up in the morning. What's the policy on showing up late if I sleep through my alarm like I did every other day this week?
  9. Actually, Stoner gave a really detailed opinion of that in this interview: http://motomatters.com/interview/2011/07/08/honda_press_release_interview_with_casey.html Cliffs notes: not much difference. Still a cool article to read.
  10. Some would consider a mixing board an instrument. Not so much in the hands of your wedding DJ who is simply sliding the fader back and forth.
  11. I initially thought that was feet per second, then I realized I was not in the firearms forum this time. http://www.redbullusa.com/cs/Satellite/en_US/Video/moments-casey-stoner-moto-gp-021243047212056
  12. Next year won't it be 112 for everyone, or am I missing something?
  13. FWIW this is where I got the supersweet (sarcasm) 6" numbers I have plastered on each of my powersports toys. Doubt it helps, and letters are an interesting dilemma. http://host0114.csmhosting.com/iw_products.m4p.pvx?;products_no_tree?company=APS?CAT=NUM P.S. Three 35-cent numbers will cost you in excess of $15 shipped, so I am positive this is of no help whatsoever. If I have any left they're all 6s and 7s.
  14. Although the chances of me being there are slim, in looking for non-highway routes there, I was curious as to the "rideability" of "Reynoldsburg-New Albany Rd" and "Lancaster Ave" through Reynoldsburg. Any input? Not from around here and can't tell if they're 55mph rural or 25mph hood from the map.
  15. Neither of those stories contradict each other. I was sure from the start that VIR said, "F you, we're not losing money on this," and the "AMA" said, "Well, I guess there's nothing we can do here." They've come so far since rock bottom in 08/09 and finally have some exciting racing going, and they accept this happening. I bet yet another tarnish on the reputation of the series cost them more in the long run than it would have to make that race happen. I thought these DMG folks were supposed to bring some NASCAR-level clout with them - they can't just dip into some other account to protect the value of their investment? Sorry for the rant. I guess it's just an emotional swing of seeing FOUR great races from MO this weekend, and then being reminded that the whole series is really still just a joke.
  16. I agree with you there and do the same thing. Unless I misunderstand and you're phucking up the rotation at a multi-way stop by tailgating the car in front of you through the intersection.
  17. I see oncoming cars turning into the "far" lane also, but I cannot tell if there are two lanes turning left across the intersection. I think I know where you're going with this, I recall you had a "pet peeve" awhile back. I think there is something about both lanes being clear before turning into traffic, at least that's what I was taught in drivers' ed. I think there are several redundancies in the rules to allow for somebody screwing up, like not changing lanes within xxx feet of an intersection vs. turning into the nearest lane vs. yielding to both lanes. IOW, I think what you want to do is wrong, but I may be wrong.
  18. The only one I see is the car in front not turning into the nearest lane. Both cars were stopped at the stop bar before pulling forward.
  19. I generally just read the front page, so I never really know what I'm in for. Saw that after the fact.
  20. I thought this was going to be about using the rear brake.
  21. Pathetic. http://amaproracing.com/rr/news/index.cfm?cid=44011
  22. Just heard this and am very disappointed that I will never see one in person. Something I always wanted to see but never thought about making a sole-purpose trip for it.
