  1. From watching CSI-type shows I know that trash is public once it hits the treelawn. Or maybe the cops on TV just don't know the laws either.
  2. Just go to the dragstrip and practice. All the hardcore drag race guys are going to tell you to hit it with alot of power and spin off the line, which doesn't work well on a stock height 600. You just need to get the timing down between feeding clutch and throttle. Goal is to get to WOT ASAP without bogging the motor or overslipping the clutch while keeping the front end down.
  3. I thought you meant literally. A friend's cat got accidentally locked in his motocross trailer for a couple days last week. It's pretty ripe. I've actually never cleaned any of my sportbike gear other than wiping bugs off the outside.
  4. Holly phuck. 8 pages of arguing something that is black and white.
  5. My opinion may vary from others, but I would go with the "over the fender." #1, the double banjo at the MC gave me some clearance difficulties. #2, I don't know what the performance advantage is supposed to be, but my setup with the two full length lines gave me a softer lever than the stock lines. I had two bikes side by side with the same brake pads to compare. There is the possibility that something else was off in the MC or calipers, but I feel it might be increased compressibilty due to higher volume of fluid. Anyhow, this is my opinion, don't care to argue, just saying if I buy SS lines in the furture, they will be "over the fender."
  6. If they were Harley-branded jeans that were catching on fire, that would be awesome. Otherwise this is just stupid.
  7. We should leave it at that, learn from this and move on. Lawsuits aren't going to help anybody except the lawyers. I have opinions on the situation as I understand it but am not going to post them here to be used against any our fellow enthusiasts involved.
  8. God damn. I thought Circleville was flat.
  9. Rod Harp at Product Tooling in Sunbury was willing to do small single parts for me in the past. 4290 North 3 Bs and K Road Sunbury, OH 43074-9580 (740) 524-2061
  10. I think both of these are a bad idea and the OP handled it perfectly. He was ready but no one knew he had a gun because it turns out he didn't need it.
  11. I was going to comment on the original post, but this thread got too retarded.

    I don't know, and I don't remember. The point is it wasn't a 10rd mag.

Long long ago I bid on a 50rd TEC-9 magazine on eBay. Turns out eBay had a 10rd limit for magazines, the auction was cancelled and myself and I'm sure the seller got a nice little message about violating their terms. A short time later the seller listed a 10rd TEC-9 magazine. The picture showed a ruler and a magazine about 12" long. The description excessively repeated that this was a 10rd magazine and said "please note the ruler in the picture."
  14. I was really surprised that there were no team tactics by Suzuki. It almost seemed that there were ANTI-team tactics by Hayden. I know you're technically not supposed to do it, but it happens in every other form of racing. Suzuki spent alot of money chasing that title, and all Hayden had to do was stay up between Blake and Josh to bring it home to the team. Wonder if he's sore that their plans for next year may potentially include Blake and not him. Not disappointed, happy to see Josh win instead actually, just surprised...
  15. Seriously? This: Those guys are high-fiving everybody in the hallway. You have a daughter?
  16. I imagine any straight-through type silencer will look the same to your motor. That mid-pipe is long enough it probably doesn't matter what is on the end of it as long as it's not a constriction.
  17. Just go to a track that doesn't require a kill switch. Kill switches on a stock sport bike are stupid IMNSFHO.
  18. In that case your comfort zone is way out of whack. Dragging peg feelers on a supersport is almost a final warning - not much tire left there. Learn how to use your body to minimize the lean angle and therefore your margin for error, and if you choose to tear up on/off ramps be aware of what's on the outside.
  19. Damn, that does suck for us. That guy is a real artist - seemed like his mind was always running trying to figure out how to make things look cooler. Usually spent way too long talking with him at the end of the day. Hope his move gives him even more freedom to do the things he wants to do.
  20. Nah, that's why they're giving it away for free. Da gubmint decided they had no further use for it...
  21. Way to early to talk about winter.
  22. Are you being serious? I hope you didn't give them any more info than they already had. I contacted no one but my bank with my issue. I even set my browser to "in-private browsing" before I checked out their website.
  23. All you need to ask is "when can I come take a look at it?" Either it actually exists in Canal Winchester or is "currently crated for shipping" in some far-off country.
